No removable battery ?
That would be a MAJOR LETDOWN !
If that were true, GOODBYE SAMSUNG !!! (after 13 years of being a loyal Samsung customer).
Removable batteries are a major feature of phablets since it allows for heavy use all day long (when on trips, business trips, or very long day at work without being able to plug your phone in).
I guess I will have to change brands if that no removable battery rumor were to be true !

If that is the note 5, the phone I have been waitinig for 4 years to replace my SII, I will look for another phone.
Why Samsung take away the removable battery option and SD card slot?!
I hope the G4 pro won't be disappointing as the note 5.

I don't understand where Samsung gets their information but if they use their heads and read some reports they will find that 75% of android users put a case on their phone. Where is the logic in making a pretty phone when most people openly admit they don't care and put a case on it anyway. The same report puts apple users at 87% using a case, I understand its their company but they are not listening to their customers.

I hope, these rumors are false.
I'll love to have a 4500mAh removable battery with micro SD support, IP68 certification and USB 3.1 with type C connector or there might not be much need to upgrade from my Note 4

Innorelge , 06 Jul 2015SONY is much better manufacturer. Z3 is a beast & Z3+/Z... moreYeah right........ in your dreams. How are they going to fix a heating issue with a software update? The Z3 and Z3 plus are two really great looking phones but that's not it. Specswise, they are far behind, compared to the current flapships. They should change their way of thinking asap and get it right with the Z5 which is apparently already coming in Septmeber. And get rid of that rubbish camera. I have a Z3 compact, I know what I am talking about.

SONY is much better manufacturer. Z3 is a beast & Z3+/Z4 is the handsomest smartphone I've ever seen, though it has overheating problem. I'm sure Sony will fix it very soon.

I really really hope these rumours are false.
At a time when we want Note 5 to add more features like FM Radio and maybe waterproofing, Samsung is forgetting it's real users by removing SD card slot and removable battery!!

Coming from a Samsung user the company is a sinking ship right now. They have enjoyed a lot of success over the years but the tides have turned now. Let's all accept that Samsung have gone far away from the basic things that made them great.
