I have noticed in the life of phones that the 1 you like the look of specs wise is probably 3years premature so to that end and wait! oh and look for small print floors like "won't work if touched slightly!" or WiFi range 2foot etc. i want an omnia hd windows mobile, better yet why not make them os interchangeable who says we cant choose?

It's cost about 50 dollar more than the regular hd here in Singapore. Also, this had a capacities touch screen as oppose to the original one, which mean better response. The only is the bad symbian OS which is dying!

Samsung came up with this version because they are pretty sure that the omnia hd is the best phone in the market! They know that they are wide ahead of any competitor, including: htc, nokia, sonyericsson, apple, blackberry and motorola! This cell came out 6months ago and since then any other manufacturer has been able to create a piece better than this one! Of course, this version is a luxury, but if people have enough money to buy the Vertu garbage, so they will better buy this phone which price and funtionality are worthy!

This is the best of all symbian phones out there. No complaints about it! excellent responsiveness, hardware, software and camera performance. The screen is huge in size and quality! Definitely it's a must for any person who is looking for the best cellphone in the market! You will not regret!

Hee, 03 Dec 2009They just want to take your money and never mind to support... moreI'me the owner of one i8910. To me, it is the best of all cellphones. The quality is excellent and the touch response is perfect! I have had several phones: samsung omnia, htc touch, and hd, nokia 5800 and n97 but the i8910 is for granted the best of all. It has never failed and the camera is simply outstanding!

Samsung is a freakin joke when it comes to product support. I switched over to Samsung after yearsss of Nokia faithfulness but alas, my suspicions were confirmed. Samsung stuffed a lot of respectable features into a set that does NOT know how to optimally utilize those features.
It may run on Symbian but sadly, it just does not deliver on all the promised fronts, which is especially infuriating when you consider that ALL problems CAN be resolved through firmware updates!

If Samsung doesn't offer this product support and fast, its back to other brands I go. Would probably never buy any other Samsung product for this very reason, whether it be an LCD or a freakin washing machine.

don't buy the omnia hd or any samsung mobile i already have the i8910
and its touch screen doesnot work and the samsung service center returned it saying he does not know what to do!!!!!!!!!

It is more easy to make a brown/ goldish case than to make a real firmware. So Sammy this is my first and last Samsung phone. Ever. I will never buy again a Samsung product.

They just want to take your money and never mind to support their products after sale. Every i8910's owner knows that Samsung sucks. Improve the old i8910 before releasing this to trick people.

Seriously this is a pointless device and a big F*£K you to all exisiting Omnia HD owners. Support for the original is a joke - buggy, messy firmware with even worse distribution. Top spec hardware dogged down by crappy firmware. So much potential ruined...

I still have my HD but dont use it anymore I now have a HTC HD2 and it is pure awesome...Regular Official updates (already been one) and soon to be more custom ROMS, tweaks, upgrades than you can shake an Omnia HD at. The OS may not be perfect but going from my Omnia HD to the HD2 is a major step up in usability.

Alot of people give WinMo bad press but some features are great (MyPhone, Marketplace - which is getting better! and the WinMo 6.5.3 upgrade due soon)

Samsung are churning out some touchwiz crap all the time...
