Apple Watch sales have taken a 90% dip since opening week

08 July, 2015
Rather unsurprisingly, two thirds of the sold Apple Watch devices have been from the entry-level Sport family.

believe me, the standard watch will become a more smart one. They already starting to make a more smart watch, it's time for Rolex to do at least 1 this year or the next one like others do

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2015When taken into perspective, Apple's Watch is indeed a flop... moreThe only perspective you seem to be looking from is that of delusion. Quite incredible to say that a flop means the biggest launch of an item ever, outselling everything else in the industry lol.

Do you people just write words on the keyboard and not actually remember that words have meaning?

LOL Apple sold more watches than all combined smart watch sales from other companies, in the opening week... that should be the headline.

Probably sold more than the entire smartwatches sold in the last three years by other vendors in 2 months. Not sure why Samsung didn't release any new smart watches

Anonymous, 08 Jul 201520k watches per day sold. Compared to Android watches.. ... moreWhen taken into perspective, Apple's Watch is indeed a flop. Even I was surprised that their sales went to the crapper. When Apple outs something new like this, the expectation is that it goes mainstream. If even Apple didn't break the ice, then that's a lot of wasted investment.

This is like a hyped summer movie which opens to huge numbers due to promos, star cast, and director but then shows huge dip due to lack of content. However still shows profit due to initial business.

                    20k watches per day sold.

Compared to Android watches.. is less then 1m per year..

                    Oh yeah Apple is doomed.

Plus this company track news based on email apple watch sold receipt... so how did they get that data? Gmail? Google? Yahoo? Thats major security breach.

Any watch device for smartphone will fail miserable. Apple did fairly well because its Apple, period. The point and here I make it clear, WHY ASK USERS TO MESS AROUND ON 38 mm SCREEN WHEN THEY HAVE A BEAUTIFUL 4.7 in screen in their pocket ? Second watches are a personal thing, and everyone almost when they have the disposal income will definitely buy a branded watch and not be like a kid messing around with a smartwatch. For my money look at the Garmin VivoSmart, it is a great notification, ( Every app ) and also a health band. The POINT IS BAND, which on your hand looks like a bracelet wearable like most people young and old use. AND IT DOES THE JOB EXTREMELY WELL ON APPLE.

It's 100% true that 'Apple' and 'Watch' make some kind of black hole that sucks all the sheep in. I could get a true premium watch with what Apple demands for their watch, er, everything else they make in general.

I just came here to poke fun at this ...... um, whatever this is.
Apple, the only think they deserve is pity from us.
