Sam9teen , 08 Jul 2015Please Samsung don't do this to me, i want user replaceable... moremust have user replaceable battery and micro sd. I will pay more for this, otherwise I am out am will move on to other options.
Your customer user community will demand it or they will also pass.
No user replaceable for other manufactures may work but then those manufactures have a different customer base mindset.

The S series has finally got the Plus treatment, S6 Edge and S6 Edge Plus. I would venture a guess that the Note series would get it too sooner or later. 6.3" screen Galaxy Note, everyone? ;)

SD 808? Samsung doesn't know what plus means or for them plus means bullshit.

The S6 plus should be enough for those wanting form over function so makes no sense at all for Samsung to do exactly the same but with the S Pen with the Note 5, so if Samsung had any sense left they'd make the Note 5 with replaceable battery(Unlikely) and SD slot then they've got 2 phones attracting a much wider audience.

If the Note 5 has micro-sd I will buy it. I'm not concerned about the edge, but a micro-sd is a must. I like the new metal designs Samsung is putting out but was willing to compromise on the extra storage slot. Hopefully, Samsung understanding the needs of Note users, actually puts one in.

Let the Note 5 have replaceable sdcard and battery as the S5 *AND* make it look good as the S6. That combo will steal headlines.

Sam9teen , 08 Jul 2015Please Samsung don't do this to me, i want user replaceable... moreI haven't replaced a batter in my phone since the Note 2, but I have needed the microsd card, if they can keep the glass back and ass a slot to the side of the phone, like the simcard slot, where you can put in a microsd, then everyone wins (except those retarded ppl that put huge batteries on their phones and then need to buy a bigger back cover making the phone a brick). 4100 mah battery, microsd, glass back, win/win

You guys need to get that devices are designed to set cost parameters to maximise profit revenue.

Swiping your finger on a note 4 glass is much, much, smoother than swiping it on the 3, and the 2, the 3 and 2 feel like every other screen out there, but the 4 feels like you are gliding on it, much like the iphone screens, plus the quality of the fonts and the PPI is so crisp on 1440..fingerprint scanner, heart rate monitor, faster cpu, gpu, the note 4 was every bit of an upgrade over the 3...

The specs sound just like the Note 4? Looks like Samsung will be new multi-year lows as a result of keeping the phone the same and removing features. What a major disappointment. This will be the first Note model I don't buy.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2015completly agree with you cant understand that step back to ... moreIt's probably nothing more than a commercial agreement between Qualcomm and Samsung. Qualcomm let Samsung factories build the new Snapdragon 820 SoC on their foundries and in return Samsung will use (some) Qualcomm SoC's in a selected set of devices. Unfortunately it seems the S6 Edge Plus will be one of those devices.

What Samsung don't seem to understand is that the Plus in our culture means BETTER or MORE. Thus NOT a SMALLER screen and LESS PERFORMANT SoC compared to the regular or previous version.

Anyway, it seems Samsung STILL releases way too much devices with way to many different internals and way to confusing naming schemes. It's still as confusing now as it was 2 years ago. So WTF did actually change at Samsung except a shift at the top? And then they wonder why they can't get their numbers up.

glass backs and non user-replaceable battery = recipe for disaster. after a year of use, your battery became swollen and it slowly push the glass back. and after couple of months, the glass would break. that was my personal experience with LG E975 with plastic back cover and non user-replaceable battery.
