This is not a good development IMHO.
These are NOT Galaxy S-devices anymore. They are Galaxy A-devices. IMHO they should be addressed like that. A9 Edge and A8 Plus or something. The signature aspects that define a Galaxy S (high-end performance, external storage and removable battery) are gone.
I predict that a whole lot of Galaxy S-fans will skip these and either go or stick with Note 4 and /or S5 (like I did).
As for myself I've already decided to skip the S6-series and Note-series altogether. I think that a 64-bits OS on a device with less than 4GB is ridiculous. Not to mention that from Snapdragon 800 up-to the current Snapdragon 810 on, devices have been powerful enough. Besides I expect that with the Cortex A72 series of ARM-cores a major leap in performance will be achieved. While IMHO the Arm Cortex 5x based system aren't that spectacular compared to previous generations.

I just got my "Samsung Galaxy Grand Primo Bendo Trio Extravaganza A16" :) It's an amazing device! It's got amazing bended screen although i dont know what to do with it... just yet..... It's got 16core CPU and 8Gig of Ram so my Facebook app runs sooooooo smoothly now :) Although i dont have any apps and probably wont ever have on my phone that will need that kind of power but at least my phone rules the Benchmarks!!! YEAYYYYY

Please Samsung don't do this to me, i want user replaceable battery and a micro sd card slot. Or else lg G pro 3 will be a better option than note 5. Desperately waiting for note 5,please don't disappoint

Samsung, don't do the same mistake as S6 with sticking to 5.1". Yr sales figure are declining by the day. If this S6 Plus is to be 5.7" then it's correct that the new Note 5 should be 5.89". Lesson should be well learned.

If the screen size is same as Note 3 and Note 4 then there's no point for me to upgrade. I was looking for a bigger display in Note 5, sorry, I'm a little disappointed in Samsung if it's true.

Front facing speakers
And, honestly, I would have been Ok with the note 4 screen. Maybe samdung could make a second model for for Android users who don't want to copy crApple?

Do you have something against the "Plus" moniker? Do you know how many companies use this moniker in the past, even before Apple made their iPhone 6 Plus?
