Orch, 08 Jul 2015Doesn't matter, note 5 will be in shadows of the iphone 6 plusYeah, because the 6 Plus is literally huge with those monster bezels. All phones are dwarfed by it.. Hehe.

Ya this will decrease the sale of upcoming note5 ...so dont launch this s6 plus ...s series is fine in his place why r u making bigger version like s6 plus ...we knows the bigger from samsung is note series .... and launch of multiple big screen phone like a8 note5 and d6 edge ..may confuse people to which one they buy and definetily his intrest on note 5 will decrease....and we know s6 done his work s6 is a succesfull device and record larger sales rates and demand also proof that s6 is succesfull thats it now what u want ..now leave s6 and focus on new note series device note flagship ....focus on note5 .....

The bad news is, Samsung will lose long-time customers like me with fixed battery and no memory expansion. I was so looking forward to upgrading to a Note 5 from my Note 3. Looks like I'd rather spend on the competition if there's nothing to differentiate.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2015Incessant whining incoming RE: battery and SD Card. For... moreDude, there are some people that actually use their phones, and they are buying flagships for that, to use it (usually for business,'cose it is only reasonable reason why to buy most expensive smartphone), not just to show it to friends. And S6 or it's Edge version to that kind of people can't stand 1 day... And you, my friend, keep showing it if it makes you happy. On topic, now Sammy will have 3 phones with same screen size: Note5, S6 plus, and A8. Again they are making too much products.

I will buy the Note 5 to replace my Note 3, unless they do something stupid.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2015LOL snapdragon 808! that is a step back from exynos! That's what i thought too, it should be called S6- Minus. Why you call it Plus when it has inferior chip like Qualcomm! At least put an Intel or NVIDIA or even MicroTek but Qualcomm is a turn off because i almost got a 1st degree of burning from touching LG G3 "SD 801" running a game earlier this morning.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2015Incessant whining incoming RE: battery and SD Card. For... moreIt's far more advantageous to have the option for a battery change than carrying that large power bank as well. Whatever happened to portability and being wireless? I can get through 3 full battery changes since I fully utilize my unlimited LTE and constantly using my Note with a Chromecast. A micro SD carries 4 times the internal capacity is quite welcomed, especially you have entire seasons of TV series. Samsung is going the iPhone way because they'd like to be selling you all that paid content. So, excuse us if we can heavy use or devices more than you without carrying a charger or per bank, or the fact that we can carry some 100GB of data than you probably don't need. Sometimes we don't like carrying a bag, and what we can do to extend our usage without charging is that thin extra battery in our pocket. We would like to have our devices more secure in our pockets than waiting to charge outside and give chances for theft. Excuse us too for believing in being safer by charging our batteries separately with a cradle desktop charger and do truly making our device wireless. Some of us would like to replace our batteries or prolong is ability to hold its original charge capability... I do hope you know batteries deteriorate over time especially when fast charging ruins them faster, and we do not have to wait days and pay extra service charges for it to be replaced.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2015Incessant whining incoming RE: battery and SD Card. For... more@Anonymous If you have the IT-infrastructure in your region that allows you to stay 24/7 online without data limits then I would agree with you regarding microSD cards. BUT there are just a few countries in the world having such a network structure. I live in Germany (one of the richest countries in the world!) and I have sometimes to deal with GPRS speeds in the city!!! Not talking about subways or when you're in a train. Even if I have full 3g or 4g my data traffic gets limited by the provider. I mean 2 or 3GB of traffic a month is a joke and than you tell me to use the cloud for streaming my music and movies and storing my photos?! Regarding storage speed: As long as you don't save apps on the microSD card it won't slow your phone down, at least you won't notice it. Where is the deal if it takes 0,19 seconds longer to open a ripped FullHD video or your playlist?!? Removable Battery: Sure you can say "If you carry around a second battery you could also carry a powerbank to charge your phone on go. Kinda legit. But what about the loss of capacity? Frequently charging your phone (once a day, every two) will have an effect on the battery health, it will no longer hold the full capacity. After 6 month of use you'll notice that. And that's when a removable battery play its cards. Grab one for 10 or 20 bucks from ebay, put it in your phone and you have again full capacity. But if you belong to the people buying every year (or even twice a year) a new handset that won't be problem for you, but for the one you sell the device. I for one won't buy a phone not having an expandable storage or removable battery, even it its means I have to buy an older "outdated" one.

Don't you tell me how to live my life :P :P

And for the record, Apple takes the credit for realizing your thoughts about SD cards and removable battery much ahead of time. They knew these two things would eventually no longer be something people rely on as technology advances.

Samsung underestimated the demand for S6 edge plus and couldn't ship more.
So samsung ended up having surplus Note 5 in the inventory.

Some will not need sd card but others will need it. Sd card slot is always a plus. Samsung will lose some customers because of it.
