AnonD-75819, 09 Jul 2015Then you have not used pureviewGive me a break. The Symbian-based Nokia 808 was miles ahead of the 1020 as a camera. The 1020 was intentioanlly crippled, because Microsoft wouldn't give Nokia developers the low-level access needed to write Windows Phone 8 drivers for the dedicated graphics processing chip.

Less models with no exclusive carriers and faster updates would be great.

I'll buy Microsoft products the day they turn open source (FOSS) i.e. become more Googlish. Until then - nada.

Each year Microsoft will launch "one or two models" per category, which makes for up to six handsets per year. Think there was a mis-print here. I think they mean't to say projected sales of up to 6 actual devcies per year! Perhaps with Windows 10 they hope make that figure up to 10?

Upcoming strategy Model wise:- Low range(6** & 7**) Mid range(8** & 9**) High range(10** & 15**) Price wise:- Low range(8K-17K) Mid range(21K-35K) High range(39K-55K) ............................ In meeting they have decided to cancel the 4** & 5**. Because this series will not have quality if they want to tag it at lower price that's why they have cancelled this series. Because they are focusing on quality. ............................ They thought that indian market and other countries can afford the price tag of low range at 17 & mid at 21K. So they have decided this price gaps. ............................ And between the price gaps(example:-21K & 17K) they will cut down prices of their mobile devices at that gap price. They will not cut down the price more than that gap. Because they are sure that their quality of high range will be the best and better than apple & Samsung. And midrange will be better than all other OEM's. More info coming soon! Stay tuned.

Windows 10 needs a real flagship released every year, with Purview camera and the latest hardware, and because Windows do not need that powerful hardware it will perform far better than any Android when on the same hardware!
I used to be a Android-fan, "hating" Windows Phone, but after trying Lumia 640 I will never ever go back to Android! I will buy Windows 10 flagship when it is released!

What we need are more apps in the store. As a result of the few apps in the store, many find it difficult to use windows phone. Eg.imo,. There are many apps on android which are absent in windows thereby making it difficult for many people to use. We need all the apps on android also on windows. Thankyou.
