Most mobiles, ranging from those with entry point SoCs to recent flagship-grade insides, don't have very good audio chips. This means the fidelity of sound coming out of them isn't very good, regardless of whether it comes from their speakers or from plugged in headphones. Then there's also the fact that lossless audio (FLAC files, for example) are a waste on systems that can't make use of them properly.
Sure, you can stick any old phone on a speaker dock and play music really loudly, but the music won't sound as good as it would if coming from something with a decent audio processor. That's where the Wolfson chip on this phone would come into play. It isn't likely to put out DAC-grade audio, but it'll be pretty good, none the less.
So yes, this is a pretty good way to go for those who don't want to lug a phone and a DAC on their person at all times, but still want high quality audio (and have the cash to spare, I suppose...)

Pretty cool. Seems like a niche product, though. And seems a bit expensive for what its offering.

You can keep spending your money on these inferior sound devices with puny amplifiers, while I listen to quality music from some proper sounding speakers that are the real deal.

if they have 1080p screen, a snapdragon 800 and 32gb of built in storage, i buy it...but has not unfortunnaly! but is a piece of art anyway, i love the design! i want to try it every day...costs more than a crap of ijunk 6! xD but still better in every aspect!

Why not just buy a dedicated speaker system and then plug your phone right in? There are tons of awesome sounding ones that are portable as well. No need for this gimmick.
