CPU wise 400 series is the same from Lumia 630 - Lumia 850 and its ok not bad for Windows such specs are far good if the Price tag is below $300 and should be

Not acceptable in any way. Snapdragon 410 processor should have been used in Lumia 640. And where is the use of Gorilla Glass 4? And camera even less than that of Lumia 640XL? Snapdragon 610, 768p display should be in Lumia 750 and Snapdragon 615,1080p display should be in Lumia 850. And minimum of 2 gb RAM should be in These mid range(lumia 750, 850) smartphones

And there Microsoft was few days ago, whining that they needed better Lumia phones.
And what is this mess? 550 is mostly worse than 540, 750 is just a mere 640 refresh and 850 is an overpriced low-midranger.
What a great new generation of Lumia devices. What a dissapointment.

people are complaining about specs on a phone intended to be cheaper and lower end. If you need top of the line go with the lumia 940 3GB + LTE support

Lol 850 still with the underpowered 410, this isn't 2013 microsoft... And before the usual fans come and say Windows Phone doesn't need more, windows phone doesn't magically improve the GPU performance :)
