3G lame? I think you need to stand back and think about just what you can do. You can be out anywhere and surf the net, look up maps, download games etc....outside....with your mobile!
Ok its not as quick as your broadband at home but think about the convenience...a few years ago we'd have given an arm for this technology.

Bad reporting, current HSDPA networks can get 21 mbps and will be upgraded to 42 in the next year.
So thats close to half the speed, not 1/10th

Though our supposedly lame 3rd world country still have lame 3g networks, at least we're thankful that our telcos HAVE PREPAID rates.
Means we don't have to own CHEAP phones to have affordable call and text rates.

Nice, I wish that this technollogy spread faster. I think that this type of network can be used on HTC MAX, only if things were optimized that way. Anyway, it will pass 2-3 years before we get full 4g coverage like we have 3g now.

uk networks need to invest more on its masts and where they put them, focus on getting the 3g signal right first for in building and outside coverage ,then think about 4g, learn to walk before you can run

wouldnt that amount of electromagnetic radiation be disastarous to our health? Before we know it we will be unable to reproduce, just like that movie with children of men =/
Technology needs to step back and look at the bigger picture....
