AnonD-376219, 01 Aug 2015I have the Note 4 and its the best smartphone right now.
... moreNo the processor is the same as Note. 4's. Only difference is that it is 2.1ghz instead of 1.9ghz (note 4 octa).
Apart from that smaller screen, no sd, no removable battery (so one cannot buy of those sweet 10000 mah batteries. So -yeah- worse battery (in fact), less storage (in fact), smaller screen ... How does the word downgrade sounds in Korean? Samsung Galaxy Note 5...
I hope they will crash and burn. Maybe it will teach them right for next year.

Oneplus 2 also doesn't have removable battery. Read the posts before you say something wrong.

No SD slot is a huge mistake... I personally don't need one, but many other people want it in flagship ( especially in flagship) devices. Samsung just makes one mistake after another. Lack of SD slot will cost company a lot...

Anonymous, 01 Aug 2015Really? First of all the "b" in 100 mbps and 300 ... moreYou are really an ignorant do you know that?
I wrote Mega Bytes not accidentaly, I've ment MegaByte I know what is what better than you.
Current UHS 1 speed about EIGHT MEGA BYTES PER SECOND not EIGHTY MEGA BITS PER SECOND because f*cking tests done in Windows system with HDTune, AS SSD Benchmark.
So you can f.kn transfer your files about 60-70 MBps, even my self copied Blueray film about 4,6 gb with proper SD UHS Reader it took 10 minutes.
If you still can't believe go buy a MicroSDXC UHS 1 class 3 card and an USB 3.0 card reader with UHS support then you see.
A few screenshots if you can understand what you see.
http://benchmarkreviews.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/as-ssd-bench-32GB-Transcend-MicroSD-Card-HC-I-Class10-UHS-1.png
http://lensvid.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/95mbs-sandisk-yoga-pro21.jpg
UFS might be good thing, but that much speed not necessary at all, UHS 1 cards are very capable of recording 4K videos up to 60-85 mbps (Megabits here).
You can also see yourself eMMC 5.1 with UHS 2 Class 5 generation is nearly UFS (1) but almost 3 times cheaper. For the UFS 2 its not blazing fast as you dreamed an SD cards are not dead, they are evolving.
This time... For last and real.
Shut the bloody f.k up and go.

I myself store so many movies on my 128gb card and watch them on my holidays on my mobile phone that's why I need a sd card on my phone plus that it's not 32gb but 28gb and for new games with over 1gb data for sure 32gb internal is terrible for gamers

Though I have never liked Samsung (And probably hated them) but with this step, I don't find any major problem with it! the phones without micro SD card gives 32-64 GB or even more of inbuilt storage capacity, why do people want more than That? I mean literally? plus, the micro SD cards are slower than internal, and the phones will run as charm without those!
but I still prefer a removable battery though! Just imagine a case when after 2-3 years of usage your battery becomes more or less dead and you want to replace it.. but since its non removable you will have to get an expert's help, but if it was removable, you can do it by yourself!
But still, Companies should lower the price of upgrading from lower to higher capacity of internal storage devices!

I would like to see IPS-Neo display on the Galaxy Note 5. This is because IPS-Neo display true blacks and deep contrast.

They can keep this garbage. No micro SD or removable battery? I thought Samsung set trends, now it seems they wanna pull an apple on its users. Note 4 will be my last Samsung device.

Have been sitting with Galaxy 4 and was going to move to the Galaxy 6 until they dropped the microSD card. Was hoping to switch to the Note 5 but the lack of the microSD slot kills that deal. I will wait until the release of the Note 5 to be sure but will likely just buy a Note 4 and stick with that until Samsung figures out why people haven't been jumping at their new lineup. I can live with the battery on the Note 5 but the lack of expandable memory is a killer. Have you see how much they get for expanded memory on the S6?? The price is one thing but I need to move the card in and out for large file transfers.

My preferred specs are as the note 5 as leaked except
- add replaceable battery
- add replaceable sdcard
- reduce bezel top and bottom for lesser overall height
- replace OS with pure Android

why, it's like phones are getting more tech, more options, yet it's more like less option, more expensive, more gimmicks, less options, and less freedom of choice, it's like every manufacturer saying, buy this or leave.

I said goodbye to Samsung after the ugly but feature packed Galaxy S5. With this Note 5 (just an S6 on steroids), the magic is over. :-(

So I still had hope that the screen would be bigger, but it is 5.66", almost confirmed now. Bye Note 5. Will wait for Note 6, or maybe a bigger version of Note 5. I don't care about the SD card anyway!

Good luck with the sale samsung I will just keep my note4. I bet this would be more expensive than s6 and it differed from the internal storage. Samsung is just milking its consumer. Then this would be hard to fix and expensive to fix to just like s6.
