Tech Junkies/Power Users i.e. Galaxy Note Users!!!
I kinda got where Samsung was coming from with the S6/Edge. They're consumer phones for Average Joes, like the direct competition Apple iPhones, so they needed to directly compete on the same terms i.e. Design, build, aethetics. They both exercises in style over substance.
However, The Note Series is a whole different market. They are power users devices, and the things that matter to those loyal buyers i.e. Practical stuff and the most power available, battery life(preferably removable), SD slot, have all been seemingly removed or reduced and on August 13th will officially announce the almost complete alienation of their customer base for one of the last markets that they , until now, completely dominated.
They owned the phablet market, I say that as someone that would never even consider buying Samsung, as a matter of principle. Even I acknowledge that the Note 4 is an absolutely fantastic device. Only the lack of dev support for many custom ROMs and the efforts that Samsung go to , to try and stop users making their devices, their own. Touchwiz , also another reason and the slew of Samsung crapware using memory up needlessly.
      They've just committed corporate suicide.
Now it's over to you LGwith the G4 Note/Pro...Samsung just opened the door for you...

Sad.. now its very hard time to be Samsung fanboys...

They have to copy Apple fanboys excuses to defend Note5. No slots... no removable battery.. unibody design..

Tip: Go visit iPhone comments on GSMARENA to help you defend your precious new Note.

No Micro SD will be a deal breaker for me. If there isn't one, I will stick with a Note 4

is this processor 64bit? no SD card no purchase, i'm still on my note 3. If Android phone manufactures decided not to have SD card support anymore then i might as well go back to iPhone.

Samsung why on earth would you have a 32GB device with no micro SD????? If you insist on no micro sd then make the sizes 64GB and 128GB and actually make them available not just on paper. I have owned the last 4 notes but with the lower AUD and no micro sd card I may break that cycle for 12 months.

AnonD-418132, 02 Aug 2015Will buy this one. No SD + No Removable Battery = No Proble... moreWe'll get a less featured Galaxy Note. 32GB regular version can't provide me the storage space I need. You say I just get the 64GB version - for another hefty $100 - I can live with that. It doesn't beat having an expandable card of 128GB for a mere $75. Having 100GB+ more other than the 64GB internal memory is better to have than WITHOUT. I can carry more media, and won't be worried about having to limit which to load it with.

Then there's the problem with a still same lithium-ion battery technology - they wear out in a year to about holding some 80% of what power it use to hold. Even if you have th3 4100mAh capacity, heavy users like me will likely need to connect to a charger half way to guarantee you can get it powered till late evening. That forces us to just carry charger, power bank - so much for it being sleek and classy. I'd rather change the battery, and prolong the device's life to 2 years or more. Not everyone of us need to get a new device yearly.

Samsung does not learn. It's fall has begun. This will flop in sales just like the Galaxy S6... People will stick to their Note 4 devices and new buyers will buy a Note 4 and skip this.
