Manderson, 12 Aug 2015Looking to upgrade to a note, would you suggest the note 4 ... moreThe note 4 is awesome. I honestly can't remember the phone freezing, app crashes are really rare and there is no lag. Some people have complained about issues with lollipop but mine has been perfect. The GN4 will run anything that comes out in the next 2 years with ease. (plus the faux leather back has a lot more grip then the GN5 glass back will have)

I was waiting for n5, but if they show the device with the this specs I rather buy older n4 than that doubtable stylish, fingerprint catcher, glassy all sealed crap :(

Samsung seems to think that they need a thin unibody iPhone clone for better sales.... Didn't work with the S6,wont work with the Note 5.

          A chinese company put a 6000mah battery in a 5.2in phone.

          Meanwhile, a top-of-the-line mobile manufacturer is still fitting 3000mah into a UHD/QHD/whateverHD 5.7in screen.

A smaller battery, juat to have a prettier body... There you go people. You've got what most of you wished for. A slightly fatter, plastic backed note 5 with 4000mah battery would've been nice but no. It had to look pretty above all else!

What are you doing Samsung?? No removable battery... Then no micro SD card... Now a small internal battery.... After owning all four Notes I will not be upgrading... That's ok because the Note 4 is a beast.

Authors of article doesn't now anything, TouchWiz on S6 is the worst ever.

Uses way to much RAM which causes multitasking issues since kills everything in the background.

Note 3 lollipop works like a dream compared to S6 lollipop in any of its version's.

If it has a removable battery function , an average battery life is fine.

I would consider that rather low tbh. They've have to do some serious optimization for it not to suck.

More efficient processor might mean that a smaller battery can give battery life as good as the previous generation(Note4). Most consumers need significantly better battery.
Why don't OEMs listen to customers. They need to put a beefy battery 5000mah. It would be fine for most if a phone gained 2-3mm thickness, but can last couple of days on heavy usage.

AnonD-428779, 12 Aug 2015I know it is a little disappointing not to have the rumoure... moreI'm Note 4 (Exynos) owner and can tell you that battery life on Note 4 is not impressive, but not very bad either. Endurance rating doesn't mean much in real life experience. Though Note 4 earned higher endurance rating, in real life use Note 3 battery lasts longer. Also, 30-35 % better battery performance is related to CPU only, and has nothing to do with power hungry parts of smartphone (screen, modem etc) .

I hate samsung! They are so stupid!!
They've just ruined the galaxy note 5. After they took out the replaceble battery option, microSD slot and the exynos 7422 fantasy, the 3000mAh batery is the final nail in the coffin of note 5.
