But for solution you can dowbload the rom manually from miui.com and then put it on your internal storage...then open update-choose update package and choose the rom ypu downloaded....

Hi everyone.. my redmi 2 prime is yet to be auto update to miui 7.3.1..it is still 7.1.3... my redmi note 1 n even my fren redmi 1s ordy updated to miui 7.3.1... i have tried manual update but still didnt do anything..anyone has idea how to solve this?ur help is really appreciated..

i am having mi redmi 2 prime and i am currently trying to update miui 7.3.1 through mi pc suite it happens that it is updating in 2 parts 1st part of 119 mb and second part of 681 mb .pc suite is able to update the first part but is crashing after updating second part upto 54%.so anybody knows help

Xiaomi makes MIUI for you to experience android better.
They always make updates in their special ways, to cope up with the need of general android user. That's the major function of an gadgets maker as they make MIUI as "Official Custom" android ROM, not a pure Google Android ROM (at all).
For example, Kitkat in MIUI (or MIUI base on Kitkat) actually is Kitkat++... They performs better than Kitkat, or even Lollipop & Marshmallow in other companies android.
So.. Think again.. What do you want to do with the latest update of the Android?
Do you know / want to use the specific functions of it?
... or you (just) want to feel cool using the latest update? xixixixi.. but that doesn't make you wrong anyway
