two screens with a higher res than LG's single screen lower res offering. interesting.
i wonder if they'll go the whole way one day and add a stylus to this - for people for want a stylus for the main/secondary screen and buttons apart from that.
for mad people. like yours truly.

Many didn't realize that this flip phone is Galaxy S6 Flip. Look at the specs and you will know. It is a flagship.

3.9 in screen seems pretty big for a flip phone though, otherwise that's pretty impressive. They should release it internationally as well.

I'll one up them. I wish Samsung should combine the Note with the Beam"projector phone", and the Zoom with 10x optical zoom and larger sensor.
Add in a full keyboard and some speakers.

hello Samsung Korea, like i hv mentioned before, pls export the clamshell to Malaysia. some of us are fans of clamshell/flip smartphone. if u dont plan to, at least provide info where we can purchase online...............

The first phase was the curved screen like Galaxy Round and Gear S. Then, the second phase is bended display like the Note Edge, S6 edge and S6 edge+. The next phase would be full integration of flexible panel on their devices. Samsung did mention it will be possible in 2017. So, in 2016 they try to popularize the flip phone so consumers get use to the flipping mechanism.

I have to kinda agree with the burden of an external display. I know this phone is a hybrid form, not just a clamshell, but a secondary screen should work like a smartwatch. A tiny display of E-Ink or something to push the battery further. SHARP had been on top of adding multiple displays to flip phones by not relying on a second full touch panel.

They are letting customers to get used to flipping devices so that when we are reaching the flipping flexible device era in 2nd half of 2016 to 2017, we will be able to cope with it.
