The S6 actually still does better in many scenarios. Especially more so in landscape and certain exposure areas.
And you are completely negating the Panasonic Cm1

I'm not surprised by huawei. I had/have few things from them and they're very good and cheap. Note that not every chinese maker is cheap trash! And huawei is very serious company

Problem is - people seem committed to accepting whatever their signal carrier offers - which over here is the usual common stuff - Samsung, Sony, Apple, LG & HTC. Only other one I see available in Canada is Alcatel. Very limited options :S

As for G4 fast full manual camera with additional sensors and great quality shots, better than anything. Leather, removable batt, all what we wants. I would say best phone, just that there are not new tech like other sensors or magnetic payment like in samsung phones.

I have an S5 and I use Snap Camera with denoise unchecked to remove all noise reduction (Awesome results). So for me the S6 is the same as the S5, with a bit better low light but that's just it, a bit better thanks to a bit better processing. Results are still terrible because Samsung can't post process with natural results. Same with their mirrorless cameras.
I do the same on M9 and I get awesome results.

It remains funny to see how a composition of 'best devices x' is being trashed by people, who then come with their own personal list of bests. Does it ever occur to you people who do that, that what the which of the mass is, may not reflect your personal opinion on all levels?
And those that keep chiming that the Galaxy S6 has the best camera are about the same type of people who will cling to the glorious past of Nokia's camera-phones and will keep claiming that the Nokia Lumia 1020 or Pureview 808 are the best camera-phones. AKA, they are (willingly) blind to other offerings out there.

Best Camera centric phone is Galaxy S6.
Advanced smartphone is Galaxy S6 Edge.
Best Overall smartphone is Xperia Z3.
Best wearable device is still Moto 360.
