for a demanding photographer who needs a waterproof phone that doesn`t look like a hiking boot, there is just Sony top range... I currently use Z1 and if they improve in camera department for the next flagship (IS/OS), that will be my choice...

If that's the reason that you won't buy a specific brand anymore, you are obviously not familiar with a lot of phones. Your phone is extremely cheap and to buy such a phone, the maker must make sacrifices. One of those is the limited storage that is put into phones. If you buy a phone with 4GB of storage, you will probably end up having only 250MB or something similar. If you buy a phone with 16GB of storage, you will end up with 12 GB of actual storage. That's the case with literally EVERY cell phone producer. Next time, if you are planning on buying a phone to use many apps, do some research first!

It doesn't seem very compact to me. At least 5 inches. What's the point of the compact moniker if it precludes one handed use.
I mean we already have two handed phones by the hundreds but only 2 one handed ones (galaxy alpha and z3 compact), what's the point of adding one more in the "collection", don't we have enough?

On the Z3 Dual, Contrast detect autofocus is too slow. Overheating is an issue if you're outside in 45C weather like the United Arab Emirates. Battery management is best in class. Outstanding.

after my sony xperia C.. I'm a really hesistant on buying sony phones.. storage is very poor.. even if I have a sd card..and set up the phone settings to SD card's memory. I can't download any apps anymore.. only thing that works fine is surfing the internet using chrome...shutting down completely even if there's a battery life.. and you can't even charged it once it happens.. you have to wait 24 hours.. before it will respond to the charger.. because of this.. I am not really confident anymore on buying another sony phone.

It's ironic that Sony supplies the sensors to make the (competition's) best smartphone cameras, yet in their own flagship (which isn't exactly the "cheaper alternative" to the better camera-phones) they put a sensor that is far from being the best.

Yup. 810 has issues and bad publication. 808 is the best Snapdragon choice for now.

Sony Omni-Balance design is not bad at all. I don't understand why most of us keep on complaining about it. Some Chinese manufacturers are copying it even for their flagship phones.

Why are people complaining about SONY's Omni-balance design? What's wrong with it? They look very nice. I have a Z3 compact and there is nothing to complain about the design. It's not copied from other brands. To me, other brand's phones look more and more similar day by day. I like SONY's design. Btw, I am not a SONY-fan, I like other brands as well.:)

Imma be honest, I never had a Sony Xperia phone but I really liked what they offered the past few years.
I admire Sony mobile because they kept the specs with their compact flagships.
The only thing I did never like whenever I held a Sony was the User Interface, the Sony skin. It looked and felt cheap for such amazing hardware.
The Xperia Z5 Compact will again be a monster, despite the same design language. I would certainly buy it if Sony would change the skin to the core. Sammy for example did minor changes to touchwiz and now they are more than acceptable. Sony should modernize it's software IMO.
I'd definitely be one of the new costumers
