24 August, 2015
This behavior is similar to the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge even though the Note 5 and edge+ have 4GB RAM.

And of course.....All this page will be full of is haters and people exaggerating how bad this is to claim how terrible the phone and Samsung is completely negating all the benefits and ignoring all the issues of other devices.

Anonymous, 24 Aug 2015how much ram do we really need to run apps smoothly? I gues... moreReally? Because iOS apps have been consistently proven to crash dramatically more than any other mobile OS year after year.
      And they reload plenty.

Anonymous, 24 Aug 2015how much ram do we really need to run apps smoothly? I gues... moreAltough android is synonim with samsung, that doesnt mean samsung is the best.On the contrary, reading the news lately, led me to the conclusion that samsung and their laggy touchwiz and s apps suck.
Almost everytime a new galaxy phone is launched, software is buggy, updates are late and instead of fixing problems, create new ones.
2 gb of ram is enough for a smooth android experience, some phones do a good job even with half of that memory.
Sammy has to add a new gb of ram every year because they need some "innovation"

Anonymous, 24 Aug 2015how much ram do we really need to run apps smoothly? I gues... moreHas nothing to do with "Optimization". iOS closes tasks the same way and they just don't put too much bloatware. iOS's "optimization" is just another myth. Search for (I guess the link will be banned here) "Here's how 2014's flagships fare against each other with equalized battery capacity" and you'll find another confirmation

how much ram do we really need to run apps smoothly? I guess the 1gb on apple is enough while the 4gb on android is not, IF the OS is not optimized to the phone

Samsung phones are piece of shits. Starts lagging after a while no matter what processor or RAM they use. Left out of them long back. LG has been the best and now my LG G4 works awesomely. Amazing Camera. I can insert an SD card and Swap my battery. I would suggest everyone to try an LG phone if you haven't.

They keep copying Apple. What's next, less RAM? On the other hand, they may not be able to load all the ridiculous bloatware that way, so maybe not.
