This review was made by a reviewer, but I'm not able to post the link here (Spam Protection). Anyway in the end of the test, Z2, M8 and 5S scored 8.13 points, while G3 scored 8 points, and S5 last with 7.33 points. So what your claims are false.

Akash, 29 Aug 2015I wish you took a little bit time to read it more carefully... moreEvery company learns from previous experience. The Z, ZR and ZL had a weak plastic frame and flaps. With the Z1 they put stronger aluminium frane and stronger flaps. I own a Z1C and I've used the phone in water without any issues, and its been an year and the flaps are still there. Even the ZR is water proof with IP55 and IP58 ratings. This rating wasn't simply put by Sony, like you said. "IP (or "Ingress Protection") ratings are defined in international standard EN 60529 (British BS EN 60529:1992, European IEC 60509:1989). They are used to define levels of sealing effectiveness of electrical enclosures against intrusion from foreign bodies (tools, dirt etc) and moisture." So don't blame sony just because you are careless.

I shared my experience ...why are you getting so hurt?every single thing I mentioned is 100% true and out of experience... If you note ...I mentioned Z,Z1,Z2...compared to s4& s5(contemporary devices) and not Z3 or Z3+ to s6... So dont come rushing to correct me just cause you cant handle NUMBERS or criticism....And as far as AMOLEDs are concerned ...in my experience it hasnt even slightly detoriated.. And even if yours does Im sure it took over 3 years(my s4 hasnt yet).. So you would rather be happy with a dull display for eternity than a punchier and livelier screen for the time you use the phone?
AS far as your waterproof thing... It was shut...but with usage it tends to get loose..and mine was ZR not Z1,2,3 so maybe they put better quality caps on those..but Im not so stupid that I ll use it in water without the flaps tightly shut..(cause their irritating message keeps on reminding you about its importance) Do you think people comment without knowing..??
The flaps get loose over time and once they do..you are impaired of its greatest feature ...worse..you might be unaware of it as well thus leading you to your phone's destruction.. Be a fan..just dont be a blind one..
No I don't expect sony to repair it for free..despite it being only 7 months from purchase ...but a waterproof(sorry resistant) phone should do better
But I expected it to be repaired not asked to pay for almost the entire phone's price....and yes s5 too uses flap.. But I never said thats better at waterproofing.. And BtW not a Samsung fan either.. So go ahead and insult it..hardly care..

And as far as Htc m9 is concerned... I dont think sony is looking to compete with the worst... Needless to mention the worst 20mp camera.. Sony is competing for the best and I compared it with the best.. If you are desperate to hear sony is better than other cameras..
There are plenty of phones which clicks way inferior pics...but that isnt anyones concern..

Hence sony isnt churning out the best out of their 20.7 sensors while apple equals it with an 8 mp one... Because its efficiently utilized..also samsungs 16mp is better.(just sad for sony).
Next time read carefully if you want to correct me ...I know what Im typing.

I never insulted your beloved sony camera ...infact I complimented it as well.. I just mentioned it is equalled by an 8mp apple I6 camera..which is what you also told(ranked 4th) ...all I said was s6 note 4 offer better pics out of 16 mp...
And if sony packs 20.7 mp camera and then downscales it to 8mp to provide better pics..then why should we not buy a 16mp cam or 8mp cam which stays true to its capacity?

Xperia Z3 has the brightest screen in a smartphone, with a brightness of 800 nits. Galaxy S6 has 550 nits display. Also, AMOLED displays degrade over time, very prone in screen burn in, and over saturated displays, while IPS LCD provides more realistic colours. And about waterproof, yes, you need to be careful and not careless. If you leave a flap open, you expect Sony to replace the phone because you made the mistake? So its your responsibility to keep the flaps shut. And if you didn't know, the Z3+ has capless USB port. Galaxy S5 was waterproof. If you left a gap and didn't close the back cover shut, and put it in water, do you expect Samsung to replace it? So stop posting hate comments.

All Xperia Z1 and above phones, while having 20.7 MP cameras, take pictures at 8 MP default. I tested 8 MP 4:3 and 20. MP 4:3, turns out that 8 MP was better. At least the camera in Z3+ is as good as iPhone 6, both same ranking. If you call Sony cameras as pathetic, what about HTC? The M9 has 20 MP sensor, but its ranking? 28th, while Z3+ and IPhone 6 tied at 4th place.

Akash, 29 Aug 2015Because in this competitive market ...you need an x factor ... moretruly agree with your each n every sentences .. sony is all about creating big hype of their products but offers nothing .. had several issues with z1 and faced the same situations as u had .. i was aked to pay the 80% off the cost for newdevice.. i throw the phone in service centre and never collected it back ... instead of sony i would rather prefer to go samsug or HTC ... thnx for creating awareness among the peoples

When the Z1 was released, its camera was the best one around and Better than its competition: iPhone 5S, Galaxy S4, HTC One M7, LG G2. Yet some people keep crying about it.
