I don`t know why people are complaining without getting good information about this phone. It is not the high end . I`m one of those who are looking for Sonyericsson qwerty mobile and here they are making it. They must make mobiles for different kind of users. For me I do not like full touch mobiles , but never say that X10, Satio or Nokia 5800 are not good phones. Everybody who does not like Sonyericsson that means he never touched one. Sonyericssons mobiles are very nice to hold and very easy user interface.
I`ve bought 2 P1 because I could not find any substitute. But now I`ll get this one for sure.SONY ERICSSON ROCKS AND RULES

nice design although i don't like landscape screens.but the main problem is the screen resolution.Windows Mobile is way better than s60 5th edition nice move not to use s60 :)
if they set the price wisely it's gonna be good

Where've you been, and where were nokia e71 when Sony Ericsson has made such a phone? this phone has long been made with the Sony Ericsson P990 series 6 years ago !!!!! and m600 4 years ago, and p1-three years ago so do not compare this phone with Nokia ago only 2 years !!!!! all copied Sony Ericsson, and they do not copy anyone!

Dudes take it easy, I agree with one of the comments that said that this version is the SE version of the Black Berry. Nokia, Samsung, and LG has their own version and let's be honest they all look alike.
So, this kind of products is popular that's why people love their BB's. I think it's a really good step from SE, since there are alot of SE fans out there. And would appreciate anything from this unique brand. My only complain is that there is no flash.
One more thing, adding wm 6.5 is brilliant. It's much better than the symbian os and has more features than the BB os.

I love SE but come on why no flash?? I always used to make fun of the iphone for being so stupid not to have a flash. The thing is guys is that I think the camera, flash, and blue tooth transfer should be standard in any good phone.
I'm not making a big deal of it, but SE always amazed me with the high quality and the useful features. I was thinking of getting the nokia e72, but after I saw this I said to my self screw nokia.
However, after the no flash thing and the small screen, hmmm I don't know really, I believe in SE but this time they made me kind of sad :(

SonyEricsson is currently making phones with Symbian, WinMobile, Android & their own OS. And they have like 5% market share and bad finance (needed for development). The company seem to be unfocused.
Anybody surprised why SE phones can't stand the competition when it comes to software ?
* Nokia Symbians stands better in comparison better - Nokia Maps aplication, OVI services, N-Gage and other.
* HTC Win Mobile are better - WinMobile itself is hard to navigate and offers unlogical menus. HTC has Sence UI to partly solve that.
* HTC Androids are better - Sence UI with Facebook and so on integration + they are already popular so it's way easier to get your Qs and problems answered (unlocking, rooting, upgrading software and so on)
* However, SE's own software (used in W715 and so on) stands well in the competition. Apart from one thing - Android OS is better and phones equipped with it are getting cheaper by weeks.
Is it only me or does SE have bad future perspective if no dramatic changes come ?

These qwerty type devices are on the up i think,,they are so easy to use and i favour them now owning e72..They fit in your hand and already have landscape view and saves pain in your thumbs typing on the qwerty keypad..
