my china phone has better design on the front... its looking like china portable dictionary.. event those dictionary have bigger screen!

the front looks ugly. and the screen is so cramped, it should have a large screen.

sony ericsson should honestly wind up and go home. can't they come with something brilliant like samsung? if they really want to stay then they should compete well. they're offering bad quality for huge amount.

Well, in case if anyone care to read this; there are many BlackBerry style sets out there but Sony Ericsson haven't made any lately. For some reason these form factor are very much ^in^ in consumers, and I am talking about the regular not so geek type of phone users. I personaly don't like these form but I bought one for my sister recently and ever since I feel like having one for my self too. Anyway the thing is that it is good move by Sony to cover that form too for those SONY-people who wanted to have these kind of handsets, now they can have it.

There's always gonna be a market for these kind of mobilephone. A full querty keyboard will always be a plus.

It's too late. Nokia has made E71 two years ago, this is a cheap copy released by SE

There's almost no point in creating this phone. In 2007 & 2008, The Samsung i780 and i907 Epix were released and this is essentially the same thing with either of these phones having a bigger screen (2.55" vs 2.4") and the Epix having an 1800mAh battery to boot. Both have a Marvell 624MHz CPU and Windows Mobile 6.5 will officially be coming to the Epix some time in February, about the same time this S.E. will be released so.. Basically I would go for the $100 - $125 (eBay) Contract free Epix any day over this.
