Low specs? Low battery? What's wrong with you guys? This is not a phone for 600 EUR. S808 is a perfect processor, powerful more than enough, with superb graphic card, future proof (64-bit) and cheaper than 810 and 820. This (at least LG) is going to be a perfect phone with reasonable price.

Anonymous, 01 Sep 2015snap 810 overheats let's use 808. Thats a low end device? I... moreAvoid Qualcomm altogether. There are so many other companies. For example LG has their in house SoC, there is mediatek, even Intel these days. Qualcomm plain s*cks, its monopoly reminds Intel's in mid 00s (AMD was better but OEMs stuffed their PoS PCs with Pentium 4 heaters)...

AnonD-352420, 01 Sep 2015Because 808 is weaker than the 805 which was high end last ... morehttps://gfxbench.com/compare.jsp?benchmark=gfx31&did1=25740438&os1=Android&api1=gl&hwtype1=GPU&hwname1=ARM+Mali-T624&D2=Xiaomi+MI+2
To be sure I checked my words and I was kinda shocked that the 3 years old xiaomi mi2 really mathes the offscren performance of the huawei p8 and crushes it in the on-screen test due to its lower resolution (720p to 1080p)....

But OK, huawei claims to have a high end device with a chip that is more like a sd 615 and has the graphics performance of a xiaomi mi2 that's three years old...

Specs seem modest for compared to current flagships, but they're decent enough for me. I'd seriously look into getting it should it have a $200-250 price tag. Dreaming. Wishing.

This is good news for all the phones based on SD808, especially for LG G4 in the android updates department, the LG G2 run super smooth and fast on SD800 I guess this is the result of share hardware platform with N5 and now G4 with the new Nexus, I predict great optimization of android M in the G4

New Lg's Nexus: Not as great as hoped?
I am excited to see upcoming Nexuses in reality. 'Been following for a while.
While Huawei is getting me more excited about it's Nexus the LG's Nexus don't impress me much so far. Specs are decent, no problem here, but nothing impressive either. Yet looks is ugly, so far as leaks suggest, quickly compared to original N5, and yeah, the original looks way better as of now, I really hoped for same kind of, yet slightly improved design, but it looks like the opposite, slightly dis improved, on cheap side looking. Major downer. Also the previous N5, was like G2 on a budget, minus the camera, yet new one gives impression of bigger distance from flagship level. Unless it comes with appropriate price, seems it won't be as big hit as original N5 succeeded to be. I would rather look for Moto's X Style, that is about what I expected Nexus to be like(only from LG).

Anonymous, 31 Aug 2015Honor 7, here I come... lOl my thoughts exactly... been waiting for a compact 5" phone with HD display and long lasting battery.... this nexus seems to be more of a fat phablet with only medium camera, and lame battery... not to mention the ugly design and power hungry SD 808... The only alternative to match my specs so far is ZTE mini of Huawei... very dissapointed by LG, Nexus and Motorolla with their stupid phablets...

This phone just matches what I've been looking for long time apart from being very ugly but that can be solved whit a nice looking case, I was going to use anyway. lets hope that unimpressive sized battery can hold up good!
