And v40.0.005 is not available for the 5800XM NAM. You suck Nokia! I'm really getting tired of this.

Yes its beter but thats not the solut... moreI don't take the back cover off cus I've put a leather cover on the phone so I would have to take that off first which would take too long. I'm just gonna break the plastic bit off, because the back cover only costs a few pounds to replace if something goes wrong.

I just updated firmware on my 5800XM. Kinetic scrolling is just cool and phone is much faster. Also home screen looks good. You can have menu shortcuts and contacts simultaneously.
After updating firmware, restore phone settings to factory. You can see all updates immediately.

I'm loving it so far and glad they release it the way they did for my N900. Now if somehow I get yahoo messenger on here I'll be set. Anyone with a N900 have any advice on where to get movies for my phone it would be so appreciated. If so email me @ menes1870@gmail.com

Repo, 14 Jan 2010what about some camera updates?! i think we all want that!!!Camera update for Nokia 5800? There's no need. Take the back cover off and take photos, it's about 40% better than with cover on. It's because the back cover uses see through plastic which is never 100% clean even if you just bought it. You will be amazed by the difference.
I'm even thinking of breaking the see through plastic bit to make it easier, but it might ruin the look. Has anyone actually done it?

dang now i can't tell every1 that my 5530 is better than 5800 but luckily most people dunno how to update firmware. I doubt this faster than 5530 scrolling thing, as latest firmware just out with many updates but no faster scrolling whatsoever, i think the gsmarena team made a mistake.
