Pls. help, I tried to update my Nokia 5800 using Nokia Software Updater. After following the steps on the screen, my phone blink, turns white, and so on. After a while, a message appeared on my PC saying that communication with my phone was lost. Try to reconnect the USB Cable. I tried it twice but nothing's happened. Now, I tried to open my phone and its totally blank. I tried to power it off, but the phone began vibrating. Help me, what should I do?

was suppose to sell my 5800,
after updating to v40 might as well keep it,
> updated home screen, kinetic scrolling, and auto qwerty/alpha keyboard were major updates to the phone that made it great again!!!

For the Slovenian - i updated the phone in Serbia, I presume because I have the language pack where Slovenian language is present that if you bought unlocked phone, you simply must be able to update it in Slovenia without any problem.

i am from imphal(india) and i updated my 5800 to v40 firmware for indian user first download nokia software updater latest ver ,update is available only by nsu not ota. my pervious ver was 30 there is no need to
change the product code because mine is rm 356 and some form says that update is not available for my device but i updated it. now
the os is same as 5530.

my 5800 is now very cool but i miss the calender in the home screen it is not like before
i guess the camera need more updates to get better

I have tried to update my phone. My current version was V21 and is updated to V30 only(But not get the latest V40). When I checked the page
http://www.nokia-asia.com/support/download-software/device-software-update/can-i-update and enter the code as in my phone, it is showing v30 is the latest software for my mobile.
Can any one help when V40 available for all the 5800 Express music?

Can I directly update my firmware ver 21 to ver 40?
Or I must upgrade first to ver 30 and then to ver 40?

Whenever i try to update it over the air, it shows "no updated available" and through the USB connection it shows that latest version available is "31....". Plz reply ASAP.
