MTK just have overheating problem with single octa like 1.7... i use and redmi note device... 3g model with octa and got yellow part of the screen couse it was too warm druing asphalt 8 and rr3 :D but intel is best for sure... but 90% of peaople wants 8 cores when intel makes it that will be end of snapdragon and mtk but premium price phones... just my opinion

Why all the fanboy bitching?..I'm sorry but who in their right mind would even CONSIDER ANY PHONE with that 810 in it. It's the biggest failure of a cpu in the industry for. .Well EVER! It certainly would NOT be on par with the STUNNING exynos 7420 if it didn't overheat either. Whether you like Samsung or not. .They have the best CPU AND ONLY 14nm one at that. .And it's been available since april in the S6 and S6 edge! Deal with it..It wipes the floor with the 810.. and if they can't get the exynos 7420 because Samsung needs it for FOUR flagship devices selling TENS OF MILLIONS. .Then they should go with mediatech.. Can't believe after all the issues. .These phone makers are STILL going with the terrible 810..I'd NEVER buy any phone with it in there!

Trust me dude... samsung is between bad and worst quality in 2k15 ... but sony? abput sony i just need to say something... man do you member sony z3? waterproof phone... i buy it whend they release it... pre order... and same thay my phone was full of water from kids pool... soni replace it but pointless they need to watch what they write... its grean quality and awesone performance... u know standard performance=big price=premium bulid and its ok... but for me sony lose my trust level... only for me maybe not for you... and i dont know do you try anything of lg electronics its great... for me (just for me) i have try g flex 2 and g4 ... peaople says bad battery g flex 2... ok maybe. but they forgot that is octa core with 2 gb ram and poled display and 810 soc ... that consumes so mutch battery and every but every new phone consumes it a lot so thats not issue ... who wants bigger battery life that means lower performance and small display and u got it... so phones are not perfect yet they can better but that means 1000-2000 euros to get your desinged phone from cina. ty

I wounder how will this affect battery, screen and other component longevity? Last i checked heat reduces resistance, less resistance = higher amperage = higher power draw = more watts = more work.

Wake up this is Sony ! One of the world most reputable electronics manufacturer.
They have solution for everything and trust me hands on showed that even after 10 mins of 4K recording the device is only warm. Unlike the S6 crap that can't record beyond 5 mins because it melts down.
I Know the feeling bros, hardluck with your sammy trying to get the 4K to their Galaxy shit since november 2014 until they gave up.
I'm sure one day Samsung will ship their phone with 32GB DDR RAM but the question is, will it still lag ? Of course it will, what do you know about touchwiz...

These dual heat pipes may just raise two middle toes to people sticking with the formula "S810 = overheat / heater / sunburn / handburn / oven / overmischeat / overetcburn"
