Clever but the best to determine if it works is actual testing if it really helps to cool down the dragon. Now how about battery, performance and photo quality

AnonD-265341, 04 Sep 2015Sony did a excellent job resolving this. Can't say anythin... moreI agree, but let's wait and see real world performance, sure it will be fine, otherwise SONY wouldn't launched it with 810now.

AnonD-19153, 04 Sep 2015It's not the heat that worries me It's about the useless ... moreIf you are worried about the thing you mentioned simply don't buy it sir, there is a huawei available for you or even Samsung with all plastics being recycled from old stuffs.

And if power saver will include display to stay in FHD, it will last.... well they know already lets wait and see.

AnonD-19153, 04 Sep 2015It's not the heat that worries me It's about the useless ... moreThats why u have 3450 mah battery. Although Eony claim that 4k will spend less battery.

Look folk with Sony, they had tested this for a long time. Run numerous simulation used more powerful burden on hardware. The mobile was in making for a 9 months. Surely.

And how come people dont understand that there isnt more powerful solution than 810? If there wasnt heat issue 810 would be on par with exynos 7420. If by any chance Sony nailed pipeline and metal chasis to the detail...this z5 could really be a beast among the beasts. But gotta wait till first benchmarks.

              No watercooling - no buy!
This thing has to run cooler than my overclocked gaming rig! :)

It's about the useless screen that will treat the battery like a bitsh

Why 4k resolution on a screen under 15"???

Anything beyond fullHD on phones is just unjustified and nobody can see any difference between fHD and 4k on a phone display.

It was easier to wait 820 chipset instead of making, possibly, another fail!!!! Imo!!!

Heat is still trapped inside, but now it is spread over a larger area. Curious to see if it's gonna work.

Come to think of it, I wonder why every flagship smartphone don't have one of those? My s4 used to heated like crazy, to the point my fingers burn. My Moto Maxx (Droid turbo) does throttling after a few minutes of gaming. A cooling system should be standard.

My actual S5 does not heat up so badly, wonder if there is some cooling in house...
