Still not including note 3 neo. Stuck at 4.4.2. Samsung roll out only 1 update since its launch.

I still think kitkat 4.4.4 is the most stable version of android. Even lollipop 5.1.1 couldn't be as stable as that.

Anonymous, 09 Sep 2015Lollipop still got so many issues Not really. For anybody who uses the nightlies, the radio bug has been fixed since late last month, and performance has improved dramatically since 5.0. Lollipop was buggy out the door, but has since become a decent release.
And for all of you complaining about updates, how about you do a little research next time and buy a phone with an unlocked bootloader and strong community support, so you can keep your software current for 3-4 years? You're as bad as the Windows Phone people who couldn't go from 7 to 8, or 8 to 8.1.

Tried flashing to Lollipop, but Skype had mic issues.

My i9000 rocking Gingerbread is still alive....but Samsung could've at least updated it to ICS, but oh well.

People who keep on crying for updates are really dumb.. Your old device stars lagging with new update then you blame company while it still runs smoothly on old version but no you guys want the new update.. Wew. Anyways think like a business man, when they know you will buy a new device then why will they give you update after 2 years..

I am still on KitKat ON PURPOSE because so far I dislike Lollipop A LOT... I hate that they got rid of Lock Screen widgets, the stupid new way to silence the phone, the way you are forced to have Wifi monitored... etc..
Plus Sony did not do a great job for the Z3C in L... I will wait for M to see how that goes

Google makes money from ads and services. And ads show up nicely since android 4.0 So, why bother?
Security breaches? Well, if your data is truly valuable, it will be no problem for you to get a new phone to protect it.
And no, if you are student it is highly unlikely for you to have such valuable data in your phone. But in the end, you can just get a nexus.
