16 September, 2015

Anonymous, 16 Sep 2015True. The Apple fans owners are like a herd of cattle they ... moreBecause apple has earned the trust of the average consumers by redefining lots of product categories like music player , tablets , smartphones etc ..

But companies like samsung did have the ability to follow others in quick time in hardware side , but suck in software , user experience and ease of use.
Take IP67 , sammy copied from sony for 1 iteration and dropped it in later devices , it clearly shows samsung just throws everything at the wall and wait for the stuff which sticks.
Problem is the walls are slippery and nothing is getting stuck to the wall for samsung now !!!

Its a pity that some Samsung haters are just saying silly and absurd things about a tech Leader, yes a tech Leader that played it right since the inception of Android. Others including Nokia, were either slow or didn't have the vision that Android was the future mass platform as was the case with Nokia Symbian. Now people are happy that growth is at around 1% over last year... remind you that SS is shipping around 320M Smart devices... Wake UP!!!! Among all Android OEMs I believe its a great achievement, whether you like SS or not... (The Strategic deadly mistake is already committed by Nokia who favored ugly boring windows to superior Android :)))) ) shame!!!!!!

Sorry Sammy, but I wont buy a phone I can't add a memory card to. So after 5 years we part company as I move to something totally different... a Windows Phon, Lumia 640xL and I just love it. Thanks for forcing the change on me with your sealed and restricted S6 +++ Note 5 / Edge.

This would not be such an problem as long as the average sale price went up by 15%. But if this growth comes from lower range handsets...not good.

SamsuN still dont know what the majority of the consumers want.
                1. premium build but please no glossy glass
                2. Please fire off the themes designer as the touchwitch is ugly.
                3. Consumer want more control over the phone, lots of bloatware & new flagship die after next major update.

Poor Samesung. I thought the S6, S6Edge, S6Edge+, and Not5 were flying off the shelves. But then, they are just the exact same phone repackaged in different screen sizes, with even less features than last year's models.

I dont know if you can blame them though, they have become complacent with mediocrity. Another big issue is what incentive would devs have to actually create content for it? They already dont like developing for Android, if a new player steps into the game then what? Looking at you "Windows Mobile", with your sad excuse of an appstore. lol

have you seen the polls on the major tech websites regarding note5/s6edge purchase?
after cutting out microsd-card slot and removable battery, 80% of respondents said they will NOT buy either of them.

that includes mee too. I used to be planning to upgrade to note 5, but without the microsd card slot, that is no longer an option.
so i expect their sales figures to be way, way lower than 0%. Time will tell.

Ecosystem? oh wow. Are you one of those iSheeps people keep talking about?

Enjoy your overpriced "ecosystems". Plus copying has been happening since the beginning of time. Are you still whining about that? Plus, most aspects are copied by Apple if you really look at the history ;). Not to mention Apple is using most chips of Samsung, so how you feel about that.

Of course Apple % shipments will increase more. They release phones every half year. Where Samsung has more, in every price range and the releases are closer to eachother. So of course the % will not be that high.

Reason is imple, thay cannot copy the Apple eco system which is already deeply imbedded in Apple users lives. (Home Kit, Car Play, Continuaty, Apple music and the list goes on and on and on.) Android is the main culprit for all these OEM's doing so badly. Beastly specs on their handsets, running the most disgusting OS on the face of earth.

Funny the thing with headlines it's kinda all how it's phrased. That headline and article could also read "Despite large growth for Apple Samsung sales not affected " or ,"Samsung sell 88 million more phones then Apple despite Apple growth" the article should really be asking if Samsung held firm where did Apple's 19% growth come from ?
