MIke, 25 Jan 2010why are the current htd hd2 customers complaining i think i... moreIn reply to mike, yes your comments are right in as that technology is advancing but this upgrade to the HD2 isnt a new model its the same model, if they were calling it a HD3 a new model then you wouldnt have current owners of HD2 being 'Pissed off' Most or all of these owners would have waited if they knew this was happening.
HTC still haven't fixed the bugs that are effecting the original HD2 anyway, if they did that first THEN did the upgrade i'm sure most of the pissed off owners of this first batch wouldnt complain. HTC owe these original HD2 owner at least a good Rom upgrade to fix all bugs & improve the phone.

There are many reasons why we HD2 owners are annoyed:

*448 to 576 is over 100mb increase in RAM!
*512 to 1 GB is insane!!!! Its a different device. Win7 apps will only install here not the SD card...
*It may be the ONLY current device that enters the Win7 era (most people are annoyed on this point mostly.
*The worthless 2gb card is now a sizeable 16gb thats around an instant
        $80 upgrade.
*The camera hardware is still faulty and will be fixed in this model. HTC software fix merely masks the pink spot problem.
*I have only just bought my device (MOST of us didn't get it a few months ago)and really expect a rebate or something from HTC for a 16GB card.

Thet really don`t need to set the screen to 16 mill colors becouse the 65k colors of the HTC HD2 look much better that the 16 mil screen of the iphone 3gs or any Nokia on the market...i compared them myself,i`m not just talkink without experience.Iphone really need a upgrade for the screen resolution to be compared with HD2.I have the both and there is nothing where the HTC HD2 is not beating the iphone 3gs,which i am selling becouse i don`t need it anymore.

avi, 25 Jan 2010NEXUS ONE still rules!!! just look at the specs and plus wa... more"HTC HD2 is way too BIG!!!"

Yeah, the screen size will make you remember the time you had one that BIG!!!

It's like DSI XL. Some will need it, and some may not want one.

If you want a mini version for better portability (such as a Mini N97 Edition phone), I guess you can wait for the HTC Obsession.

With multi-touch control, bigger size is always better!!!

"Those in USA who bought HD2 already must be sooo pissed "

Well, that's a newbie mistake. LOL.

Or, such owner can resell the non-US version for some extra money for the US version. The US version will only work with US T-Mobile.

There is only one point that i can't understand. SHOULD htc be subjet to T-MOBILE.Which one is more powerful htc or T-Mobile. HD2 is already an awsome device, at least we supposed like that so far. But today we informed 10 people on twitter, and convinced them to drop their orders.HTC again? NEVER!!!

they just need to get that screen to 16M colors, then the phone would be flawless!

why are the current htd hd2 customers complaining i think its completely fair that after being out for a couple months that they would upgrade it to a better device, thats technology get over it its always advancing, patience is a virtue too so it has been rewarded for customers to decided to wait and didnt buy on impulse
