I updated my 4s to IOS 9: 1- the update progress took some time, I think my internet 2- the update was ok and smooth 3- I advice people to uninstall their apps ( specifically speaking to 4s owners) and then install them again after the upgrade, this made my upgrade very smooth despite interrupted many times by my slow WI FI 4- after the upgrade l noticed:
- the device speed is ok as before and little bit faster
- the multitasking windows animations are ok.
THIS IS MY EXPERIENCES SO FAR....
- the battery life is better by 30-40% ( I managed 3 hours heavy use with IOS 8, now more than 4 hours and still have 25% of battery) my definition of heavy use is simultaneous use of mobile as wifi 📶 hotspot, 3g is on, location service on, and video play back.
- battery and device temperature are far less than before, it heats alot with IOS 8, now markedly less.
- no news app
- find my phone and find my friends added to Apps
- rapid search is as before, by swipe downwards

I just updated to iOS 9 on the 6 my pho works great . The problem is the apps are downloading way tooooooooo slow on my wifi . I even checked my wifi with other devices works super speed but way slow on my 6 ...I feel something wrong with the update.. Can anyone help me out on this??

iphone 5c user may want to hold it till next update comes in, as i some what found it laggy in comparision with 8.4.1, also i didn't like its changed interface, i think more polishing is required from apple end, this may be only my perception , other user may find it more appealing than earier releases. so i rolled back to 8.4.1 . one thing i noticed that news app wasn't available

Updated my 4S in India, working absolutely fine. But I do not see spotlight search and the new News App. This is annoying...
Any one else having the same issue??

I have a Z ultra which is a 2 and a half year old model and I have it since 1 years which is running on latest 5.1.1 lollipop and is yet to show any signs of lag! so whatever you are trying to convey is utter BS so make yourself clear about the facts. and anyways, ios devices experience as much app crashes as a android device experience!
apart from all this, android also gives pleasure of a smart phone in just 60$-70$ which is a boon for everyone who ain't rich or who doesn't have those contract based phones in their countries!
apple from the beginning has done nothing but looted the people giving them some features which android gave to us since gingerbread and iSheeps still follow them blindly.

and how about samsung way of not upgrading their 1 year old flagships :P

Works fine on my iP5. Speed is the same (although I had Low Power Mode at 80%) as 8.4.1.

On my 4s 8 gb. I tried OTA update. update downloaded successfully on my mobile, but while installation my device went to DFU mode, then i downloaded I OS 9 ipsw. and restored.
but irony is my photos and data gone.
my advice please take backup of your data. Overall new I OS 9 good

apple is pretty garbage right now... everybody is complaining about their bugs (i own a 5s and i got that touch id failed bug when i try to add my fingerprint, also i can't acces switch on my itunes and apple store)... i've seen thousands of people complaining about this, but apple don't care, they don't fix the problems cause they just want to make u buy new products... if its not true, please somebody explain to me why they don't fix them, their official forum is full of complaints, so nobody can tell me that they don't now about this....steve jobs is spinning in the grave...

I updated my 5s and ipad mini one. The ipad update was all good however my iphone after loading the update was stuck at the apple logo, a reboot did not work so i had to restore my phone and lose all my data!!! I've been using apple for a while now and today was probably the only time was disappointed in Apple.

iPhone 4S:
1. Old wallpapers from ios 7 are deleted.
2. My iPhone 4S froze after update won't switch off.
3. Now it won't switch on and stays hot to touch.
4. Can detect Wi-Fi but cannot connect after ios 9 update.
5. Promises faster performance due to Metal but I think it's now slower.
