when apple says new updates or version for iOS to be release on this day, it gets released to all upgradable units. when google says new version or updates for android only nexus units 18month old and below will be upgraded, OEM users... nevermind, your on your own.

iOS 9 now support sideloading apps, joining Android & Win10 Mobile bandwagon.
This is good news for corporate that want to distribute apps without through app store.
Corporate now will have more choice for distributing internal mobile apps.
