OMG I cant believe what the fuss is about, I mean, no camera, no flash? What the hell was apple thinking? This thing is pointless! I own an iphone and that is enough for me, cos at least it makes phone calls.

Absolutely beautiful piece of electronics but not sure if it's really necessary.
MacBook and iPhone do me just fine at the moment.

who would buy one of this???
a ebook? ok, but look at the freaking size!are you gonna take it out on a crowded bus or subway to read? a ebook should never exceed larger than a paper back.
a internet device? without 3g, there's no point getting one. wifi is out of date, except for laptops. a handheld device, you have to have 3G, so why even bother to bring out the wifi model.
3G, o well, with 3G phone, i guess people really willing to pay the extra 30 bucks a month for a same function your phone can do. and it's only for data, no call funtion. well, it's just lame to take out a device to call that's 2 times larger than your head.
email? thank you? no real time retrieve ability, wut's the point? how can email client works better with hotmail or gmail, we will see.
the only thing i see buying this device, is a photo portrait, but it costs 500 bucks. you can buy 5 sony for the same price.
who are their targets? university student have the most money to waste on gadgets, but the device cannot type notes, i mean no office editing ability, no excel. not to mention if you are in IT, MS visio, project will never make to the device.
why??? why>??
why they don't put OS X on it???
to purchase a capable device, you will spend about 700 on base model, plus a case, a screen protector, a keyboard. 1000! good luck apple, another failed crap you got out

Cheeky Apple, this is not a new idea. They are just using power to media to sell books using this ipad and want us to pay crazy price for device as well.

this is probably the worst innovation by apple in the last 30 years. when u have something tahts like 10 inch big... u want a small computer.. not a big ipod touch. Apple totally blew this one

Greatest internet experience? Not until they ad flash on it.And it will be too expensive. And finally i bet we see this in europe especialy in Romania maybe in 2011 or later. It took the iphone more then a year to reach us.
