This explain why Samsung sales declined.
Samsung just left its Galaxy update after two years.
Google should embraces vendors to give support at least 3 years or android casual user will switch all over to iOS.

worst IOS till date.. lots of bugs.. IPhone 6 hangs and lags, data usage is off the roof..! animation works when it wants.. what is with the dual spot light search... tweaks are superficial.. these should have been just minor updates on IOS 8.. that would have made more sence, then naming it IOS9.. downgraded it to 8.4.1 in 24 hours.. lost my data but at least I am happy using my device.

My iPad 3rd Generation did not suffer any data losses, in fact it feels quite great.
The other phones might be cheap elsewhere but here in South Africa if you have money to buy a Galaxy Note or Galaxy S device then it's a matter of choice between iOS or Android as they are priced the similarly especially if you buy your device without contract. Samsung devices are very expensive.
I own a Note 4 and still running my S3 by the way.

And you don't seem to have an answer as to what makes ios9 so good over ios8. What is it that makes you think not having iOS9 means your phone is outdated? You make it sound like it has support for a built in toothbrush and shaving machine.

For those who are not yet upgrading their apple devices, dont rush to upgrade. Some of apps are not yet callibrated to ios 9. Some of my apps would not load properly.

It will be a few years before iphone have android features like widgets, custom launcher, custom rom, alternate keyboard, password-free App Store, Flash, install apps from websites(not limited to Store apps only), Google voice true integration.
