I'm an android user but I gotta agree with IOS users, Apple provides OS support for its phones for 4yrs from release. My z ultra(released in 2013) may never get android M. On the other hand apple is very greedy and charge 200-300 USD more than what the product deserves.

Anonymous, 21 Sep 2015meh, closed source and 3 different devices, not much to be ... moreMeh...closed source vs to your open source which u cannot get support from ur beloved company after u purchased ur product no after sales support... my 3 yr old iPhone 4s still supported, and we users are very proud of it...how bout u, are u satisfied with what u have and what u get? After all u were left behind...I'd rather go for closed source which is a 4 or 3 yrs old but still get updates than an open source which u cannot get updates at all after u purchased it...

Now are u proud of what u have? Cause we APPLE USERS are very proud and satisfied of what we have right now from 4s to the latest iPhone6s

Android - Prime, 22 Sep 2015meh,iOS is made by apple and devices running iOS are made b... moreI agree. I would like to see the adoption rate of new OS from Apple and Nexus devices only. Compare it, but only with the OS maker. Not compare it with other brands. I'm pretty sure Apple loses if it compare to Microsoft Lumia new OS adoption rate. Motorola too. There also Samsung Tizen OS it could compare to. There are so many OS maker with their own device out there. Among all things they just decide to compare it with the entire android manufacturer in the world that don't released their own OS.

meh,iOS is made by apple and devices running iOS are made by apple....not to be proud of 50% iOS9 user.Compare to android which the OS is made by google. And devices running android aren't made by only 1 manufacture.Worth mentioning that only selected devices get android lollipop.

If you have an iPhone 4s then upgrade it to iOS 9 and just turn on Reduced Motion in the accessibility menu to enjoy your 4 years old device as if it were recently released. Really Apple is not just a brand, it worth every penny

I have an iPhone 4s and I upgraded to iOS 9 and restored my backup and It's been great experience overall. The battery seems to better (but I can't judge this yet), the speed better than iOS 8.4.

So what does the android comparison mean anyway? Would make sense if they were only talking about devices where an update is available but I have a feeling it includes more than that, which is basically an attempt to compare things that can't be compared.

Would be nice if there was analysis into the figures too.

This is easily the best iOS iteration ever! So many improvements, that just feels like a natural progression and evolution of iOS. Such a pleasure to use!
