Nokia does it again! And their VPs manage not to commit suicides due to high stress related to earnings announcements, like their competitors Cough*Samsung*Cough.

Think about the number of different models released by the almighty brand (let alone at least 6 touchscreen phones AFTER the release of iphone 3G, but the same company somehow was RELUCTANT to release any touchscreen phones b4...don't tell me about the jokes of 7700/7710, the "combined" sales figures maybe worse than any iphone 2G in a single day) vs. Apple.
If you compare sales of N97 (plus mini if u want), and possibly all other touchscreen devices, and then compare with the sales figures of iphones, and you still tell me the almighty brand sells 4 times more than iphones, I'll shut my mouth.
The truth is, the almighty brand "capture" market share by offering many mid-low end devices to network service providers for very low price....much lower than what consumers actually pay.
Ppl always claim iphone users bought iphones due to adv. So nobody bought the almighty brand devices due to "advertisement" or "promotion"?
Can those in the industry honestly tell us whether or not if you receive higher commission for selling the almighty brand's phones?
Anyway, if there will be a day where the almighty brand is the only brand which offers mobile phones, that will be the day I'll not use any mobile phone.

Nokia should make a User Interface more like the Andoid OS.
I have always been a Nokia Fan and been using Nokia's for as far as i remember, but i'm currently using HTC Magic and its great, Nokia should produce more HTC like Handsets, but with the Functionality of Nokia Phones.
But in conclusion i think Nokia should implement the N900 OS into more phones.

Nokia seem to be the only thing that gives customers the satisfaction that they need. I sell phones and nearly every customer comes in only looking for a nokia. ive had nokia for years and would recommend it to anyone. but i feel that they have dropped the ball in the last year. the ammount of recalls and warranty problems. i myself have had 4 N97's replaced in less than 5 months. it seems anything nw from nokia now will break... so we all have to wait for the next series.
6280. replaced sraight away in the warranty centre. 5800 recalled twice. 6110 replaced straight away in warranty. 6210 released early.

Yup, I like Nokia a lot (read: A LOT), in spite of their lack of a fancy interface like, what else, iPhone! Just patiently waiting for the next revision of the E66...

Microsoft needs to get its WM7 right, but HTC is still there with the Android platform. Samsung remains a potent challenger in any field of consumer electronics. That's it.

First the iPad is seen as a source of disappointment and ridicule (MaxiPad), and now Nokia is gaining marketshare and selling more phones. and did you hear? Even Motorola is gaining speed from Q4. Major portion of the sales figures goes to the cheap low end models under $40 and $100 bucks in developing countries, nothing else. E63, E72, 5130 Music Express and the old 5800 Music Express are the major selling mobiles here.
Now with mid range touch screens like 5230, 5235, and free MAP, nokia is all set to gooooooooo.
