Motorola is always been an all American brand. That is different that it owns by Lenovo but it is still. Outside America no one cares about them. Since last 3 year there all models looks the same. If you put there Moto X you can't tell which Moto is it lol

So the 5X has the same amount of ram as an old Nexus 4 from 2012? I mean really? We're almost in 2016. Honestly rather just get a OnePlus 2 compared to this.

Reality is that the European image versions still don't have the update. Also still no StageFright fix for european images.

Saying that Motorola is alternative to Nexus is a joke, if you are in US maybe, else in the world you have to go for Nexus.

Only 0.2 inches bigger display than the original Nexus 5, but 10 mm taller. What went wrong the design ? Nexus 5x should at least double the battery life of Nexus 5, otherwise not worthy to swap it. I don't care about the fingerprint scanner, just give me better battery life.

This really hardly seems like an upgrade over the original Nexus 5--a phone now two generations old. What a disappointment. I can't believe they're still offering a 16 GB version at all. 16 GB is worthless. I don't understand what Google is thinking.

And I hate the fact that only phablets are flagship phones now. I thought Google was going to follow Apple's lead and understand that although some people prefer a smaller screen, they still want all the flagship specs. I guess not.

                  Just totally disappointing and lame.

Apparently the only upgrade from Nexus 5 that Nexus 5X will bring is camera and a faster processor. RAM is same, however finger print scanner has been included. This also justifies the price. Not too excited about it. As my Nexus 5 still works perfect and with 5X, I dont expect any significant improvement in the user experience.

Anonymous, 29 Sep 2015well hold on a sec...this is a not flag ship competitor... ... moreYeah I got your point. But if it's not a flagship, then the price should be around $300 for the actual specs. Check out the $300 Moto X Play, they sacrificed the chipset and rocked with the build, camera, marathon battery, SD slot and near Nexus experience.

For the Nexus 5X specs, it should be around $300 or
For the given $380 price, we should atleast get 3GB RAM, more than 3000mAH battery and camera sensor atleast like Nexus 6.

I am really dissapointed after having waited this whole year for the nexus 5x.I wont comment on the battery though but i think google may have already killed the nexus 5x by this mediocre specs at 379$ for a 16gb.its not about just specs.Just think this way.other than the nexus branding arent we paying a bit more for just a fingerprint sensor and a new snapdragon processor.other than that the ram is so last year.i was always a nexus fan but i think google got it really wrong this time.Nexus 5 clicked and became so popular only because at a time when 2gb wasnt mainstream and so wasnt fhd there was a phone at so low prices with the correct and maybe better specs at a very good price.comparing this with 2013 nexus i find it utterly dissapointing.grudgingly i have to go for the 5.7 and 810 snapdragon 6P.I hate that size and was the single reason i didnt go for the nexus 6 even with price cuts

Can't wait. Woohhhooo... People who are supporting Moto X Style/Pure, guys not everyone can handle 5.7inch display. It is toooo big. And for G4 good luck guys with updates and that crapy interface with LG has got. 5X is for the people who can afford decent phone. Note my point people who are saying go for Moto and LG will be getting this :-)

Criticism is good; but there should be a decent and acceptable points in there. This war over the phones and technology can never be stopped. So stop wasting your energy and enjoy what we are getting. Every company is doing there best to get more from our pockets so just spend it wisely only buy what you want to buy.

I hope no one will get offended by my comment.

Anyone else disappointed by the 5X? Medium specs for nearly 400 bucks is a lot.
Kinda small unreplaceable battery and lack of microSD expansion slot is another disappointment.

Personally I'd rather buy a 1 year old phone for near identical specs for a much lower price. USB-C is nice and all, but definitely not worth t his pricetag and I dont care for a fingerprint sensor at all.

How do they justify an extra cm over G2 for the same display? How this phone is bigger than G3 and still cant fit a 3000mah battery? Since the 16gb without sd card is unusable today, we are talking about a $420 price, at least for the normal 32gb version, translated in europe at 420 euros, so at $500+, wich is oneplus 2 cost. So this phone big, bulky, with cheap old tech and flagship price, quite the opposite of what a nexus used to be!
