    Even if symbian is open source now,this doesn't meen that everything's cool.They stil, have to improve their user interface and system speed.

          Can you think this way, symbian is getting much more better now thank to the competitors. Nokia and symbian are not sleeping. And maemo too

          i hope next move nokia want to do it to make ms office free to every n series phones

            winmo is the worlds largest buggy software producer.. surely symbian s^3 kicks the ass of every platform..
            330 million devices in last year is an amazing pulse...

                    Put it in open source and miraculously there'll be horde of developers (hopefully) doing the heavy lifting for you.

                          Only after symbian sales took a beating thanks to the huge surge in Iphone and android device sales. Now winmo is pumping up thier next OS as well...symbian was just getting outdated. In the end, its better for us..the consumers!
