I first got my vs980 on KitKat performance was good but later on I decided to update to lollipop but damn that was a really bad decision phone slow freeze terrible memory management and overheating like hell so after a while I installed marshmallow 6.0.1 (blisspop to be precise) and believe me when I say it's like a totally new phone performance wise is top notch no issues what so ever battery is decent and tons of customizations no overheating no memory leaks no app freezing I'm using marshmallow for over a month and it's still on the same level of performance.
I only hope if Lg realese an official update with lg features onboard (I kinda like their features)

hey guys we must send e - mails to lg asking for an update due to they left this device with a buggy 5.0.2 and it is not fair ....the same google knows that the software has issue so lg didn't want to update the phone to 5.1.1 but the slower and older s4 from sansung did .... what a shame.

Check your G2 model and Install 'LG PC Suite' for Windows/Mac from the LG drivers and software website. You can check for firmware updates from there. http://goo.gl/YL1NDz (G2-D802)

i hope this is true other wise ill be so dissapointed due to they posted a leak for a 5.1.1 rom with g4 ux.... for me that rom is enogh either way it is like a cloudy 3.3 rom just that stock and 5.1.1 based by the way.
