WRONG!, 07 Oct 2015I found the link for you so you can better eductae yourself... moreThat article isn't very good as evidence that more cores means better performance, they never really compared actual use to capacity and so they were really only testing if more cores could be used (which of course they can) rather than if more cores would improve performance. And they didn't properly investigate what the extra cores were being used for, it's easy for a program to utilize more cores for background tasks that aren't time critical which wont result in appreciable performance improvements so again they weren't really testing performance. They also didn't really compare performance to phones with more or less cores at the same clock speed, which again means the results aren't really capable of proving if more or less cores would change the performance.
If you read the results though you'll find that as I said many apps use one main thread, and usually if that main thread is being limited by the speed of the CPU then that's what will cause performance drops, additional threads are often used for background tasks that aren't time critical and could take several times longer to complete without affecting the user experience.

I fear the Snapdragon family will be irrelevant now 😞
They used to enjoy distinctive edge in power and/or performance..
That will no longer be the case.. Hydra wont stand a chance against Apple's Hurricane core and mongoose

iphone 6 has sub FHD resolution almost above mere HD and 6 plus has FHD
but samsung series now have QHD , so the fps you mentioned is not working here,
it proves nothing at all.
only off-screen 1080p tests are valid which apple ha no lead in them currently without cheating in benchmarks.
since iphone 6 and 6 plus result are very much alike apple is using upscaling instead of rendering FHD in 6 plus (rendering at lower resolution then scaling up) oh because it has 1gb ram also and in mobiles if you know the amount of ram is shared between the cpu and gpu.
which might be a different story in 6s plus with 2gb ram.

At the moment tegra x1 ,apple a9x was on top of the chart for tablet.
Apple A9 was the best graphic performer for smartphone.No way current exynos
Can reach iphone 6s frame/sec benchmark result.Apple really serious about mobile
gaming this time.
(power vr gt7600) work like a beast....this gt7600 remind me of the old
1998 - 3Dfx Voodoo II graphic card when that was the top 3d gaming card for desktop

defeated by ip6s- power vr gt7600 in Gfxbench rendering test.
sorrr samsung,your gpu still lagging to reach Apple level.The mali gpu architecture still not developer choice.

the power of exynos is raging on unprecedented in every way. expect a hell spawn when this is made. samsung are on fire and aint nothin comin near them. even thier competition bows before them when it comes to soc manufacturing. pave the way sammy even for them naysayers...

Remember exynos 4 quad? The chipset in GS3? It didn't get KItkat, only the snapdragon s4 version got it and also performed better. Remember exynos in note 3 and gs5? They had heating problems because of faulty big.little. Snapdragon 800 was superior to them. The only good Exynos were GS2's Exynos 4 duo, GS4's Exynos 5410 octa (which had a bit heating and battery problem but was faster than the S4 pro), Note 4's Exynos 5433 and GS6's Exynos 7420, while Qualcomm reigned supreme for the rest of the part
