There's very little chance that sony would be able to make an update for the xperia Z, I'm pretty sure the outdated SD s4 Pro that's only clocked at 1.5ghz wouldn't be able to handle android 6. But IF sony did update it to marshmallow it would probably be it's last update for for the xperia z.
