Rohit, 06 Oct 2015You love it or hate it but Apple stands out to be the true ... moreYeah, ios9's keyboard is the first to distinguish between lower case and upper case, but great support right?
No point mentioning support when the support is outdated, that's why gsmarena doesn't even bother, because comparisons like that are pointless. Especially given the ease of installing custom ROMs,something that android gives support for by being open-source. Thus android always has more support than iOS. By the end of OEM support you probably don't have warranty anyway.

Given how these figures include all android devices, including old low end devices, there isn't much to be derived from it. If we had figures for devices with lollipop available then that would mean something.

You shouldn't compare all oems to Apple when it comes to updates. Even though the same OS, you are buying a phone lets say from Samsung which is their phone and is quite distinguishable than that of Google.. wanna compare? Compare Google and apple with Nexus. Compare Samsung and Apple with S devices.
