To be honest Samsung should stop supplying Apple with chipsets. Every time Samsung make cpu's Apple ending suing Samsung for some stupid reason. Why don't Apple admit Samsung is good at what they do. And deal with it.

    Apple A9 by TSMC = 16nm, Cortex A72
    Apple A9 by Samsung = 14nm, Cortex A57

while Apple A9 single processor triumph slightly Samsung note 5 14nm single processor.
because it is the TSMC Cortex A72.. multi core, still loose out due to dual core only.

Best processor would be 14nm with Cortex A72.

Good news for Apple-users. Sadly, people will always find something to gossip about and spread wrong rumors.

Based on what iPhone 6S owners have reported anecdotally, the TSMC chip performs noticeably better than the Samesung one.

Samesung's 14nm process is clearly not up to standard when it reports worse performance and battery efficiency than TSMC's 16nm SoC. Personally, I'd rather own a 6S with a TSMC chip.
