most of u are right sony is the best for updates..is proving it and it is amazing what they are doing ...the aosp project providing 6.0 builds even for older devices like xperia s xd this is really good,....sammy has a bad update track with their devices...motorola is keeping it up with its top and mid range line but.. but... lg is disspointing me ..im a lg user proud of my lg g2 but ..i dont approve the way lg does things regarding updates....never provide an official list their customer have to become wise guys and surf network companies support pages like t-mobile in order to find out if a device will be updated or not.. besides they dont update devices at all and there is not repect for flagships devices.. how come that they rolled out .. 5.1.1 update for a few midrangers and still g2 has no sign of getting it...now we dont know if lg will have mercy with us and will give us 6.0 thats why there is delay with the update....come on atleast lets us know if we have a chnage to receive an update like other companies did already.

Oh come one. 10 days? In Samsung age that's like 20 years.
Huawei is really trying harder to please customers, and they show that with those new amazing devices they present each month. The Honor, Mate and P lines are amazing and among the best phones in the market right now.
So what they take a while to give us updates? They are also testing the waters for their own hardware, so, if the policy is changing internally, it's normal that they take a while to change completely for the better.
I came from an Acer and Samsung phone, I'm not thinking about changing my P8 Lite that soon now.

It us funny that in GSM arena people who are butthurt about their service on their respective company complain and say Sony is bad.
If you have midrange device you shouldn't expect a flagship support.
Broadly seen Sony provide one of the most stable update, yes is not as fast. But it is stable.
How about Samsung,LG,Huawei 6.0 you say? Haven't heard a peep about it
Sony also provide one of the longest software update. Look at xperia z in comparison to s4 or even g2. They are both stuck at 5.0.X.
Saying they are bad just because doesn't count.
Regarding physical defects ofcoure there will be some. The thing is double layered glass with metal in the middle with waterproofing. It's hard to make. Just like any other manufacturer first batch will always have a problem. At least it won't explode on your face.

Apple and Samsung give best after sales support to its customers and Sony,LG,HTC and Motorola stand nowhere near it.

compare to SAMSUNG they got the best after sales customer service in indonesia. they can out-right replace you phone without giving you a run-around.

Takes over 20 days to get a Z series phone repaired. And Sony doesn't compensate for commonly known large scale production flaws.. Their customer support on the software side I agree is good. Their OS update releases are usually very clean with few bugs. Also Sony interacts well with its users, on the Google Plus communities for Sony Apps and clearly takes a note of their suggestions and implements them.

i wonder why samsung is the leading mobile phone provider for android when their customer support sucks, while sony has rumors of selling their mobile division while they have good customer support?!
