i wonder why nokia had its phone named like sony ericsson. Remember X for xperia then comes nokia x3 x6 ,... then sony ericsson named their phone c905 and others, then nokia came up with the c naming too... who's imitating?

Not worth any dime.., 03 Mar 2010another phone from nokia which lacks appeal and you are lef... morei do not understand how an OS in a phone would affect ur judgement on nokia. all that im concerned is that if the specs design and price suits me, i will like it.

anyway nokia own symbian so it would be weird if nokia do not use their own source but spending money looking for different OS in elsewhere.

Anonymous, 03 Mar 2010You remind me of how Toyota sells cars vs. Honda in US. ... moredame right!

it just doesnt give the custs that feeling of satisfaction.. especially for the techy ones. the mobiles they'll buy would look more like an expense rather an investment.. if nokia keeps chugging out models every month or so, people are gonna regret or feel bad about the handset they bought knowing that it'll be outdated in less than a year.. so much for bragging rights eh? it's the little things that count ^_^

im no hater guys, i use nokia mehself and i have an aversion to anything that is apple since it's all built on hype.. but when it comes to selling i have to be objective however hard it is and really give a hand to apple. like mayweather, you gotta hype it up a notch to sell it ^_^

sekundes @_@, 03 Mar 2010why is apple so successful when it comes to mobiles? lemme ... moreYou remind me of how Toyota sells cars vs. Honda in US.

Toyota cars in US offer hundreds of options, along with dozens of "packages". However, in reality is almost next to impossible to get the right color and options of what one really wants. Rather it mostly depends on what "stock" the dealer carries.

Honda's way is much simpler, most cars come with either LX or EX trims. In most cases, one always get sunroof in EX, but not LX. Is more "take it or leave it" strategy.

Back to phones, I still don't understand why the almighty brand loves to release doznes of so called "new" phones every month, when to the targeted segment of customers, often the new phones make absolutely NO difference to them. I.e. what are the differences between 1100/110x/12xx?

In this case, somebody already mentioned most features on C5 are already available on 67xx. So what's so "new" to the customers to choose from?

My view of the almighty brand's strategy is to continue "bombard" the network service providers / phone shops with DOZENS of so called NEW models, so to occupy the shelf space where others need to "fight" for the rest of the shelves...and the shops are the ones being benefitted. And I don't believe shops would display ALL of the almighty brand's portfolio of products without any fees.

Further the almighty brand offers (heavy) subsidies to the network service providers, so to ensure they capture the largest market share in mid/low end segments.

The almighty brand probably did put the "smart" system on most of its phones...since years ago. However, how many of the users really utilize the "smart" functions? Most I know only buy these phones to make/receive calls / SMS...How many of these users really use these so called "smartphones" to browse thru the internet (thru such tiny screens) or download apps?

On the other hand, Apple, with it user friendly UI (even some here commented being silly, but that's indeed what makes Apple being successful, as the average people out there DO WANT simple operations). makes browsing internet and download apps much easier, which means more data traffic and eventually more $ for the network operators. Hence network operators love to carry iphones.

seems like a colour screen on Nokia 1100 keypad.

Why dont nokia give in full effort in making 3.2 large sceen phones with the best possible quality.????????????

I guess non touch screen 3.2 inches would be the best seller once an user gets rid of this absurd and low quality touch sensation.

S60V3 phones are the best , Nokia should make one with 3.2 inches screen of the same version but non touch.
