A mobile device with a-gps, 3.2 mpx camera, metal casing, running a smartphone operating system? This is hardly a basic mobile and if it is selling at just over 100 GBP it will literally fly off the shelves.

People have the right to slag NOKIA Down, Nokia have been the industry leader from the start (for more than 15 years) and still they cant match iphone's user freindliness and touch capabilities. Look at N900, N97, X6 high end devices all released after iphone, they are all crap in-terms of touch friendliness and apps. forget iphone, look at HTC, their devices are way better than Nokia and how long have they been in the market? ask NOKIA why cant they beat HTC Hero, HD2 and Iphone? What is NOKIA lacking? Iphone only been in the market for 3 years almost and catching up very quickly to become market leader. When iphone 2g came out ppl asked for 3g and more speed. within 15 months people's wish were granted by iphone 3g and after short while 3gs. Nokia never listens to its customers they just do what they like to do? this nokia behaviour will make them suffer the same way as Sony Ericsson is suffering now. Nokia i have been very loyal to since nokia 3210 pls dont let us down, do something, show us some magic, research throroughly and release handsets on time and be upto date with market speed and new features.

People always slag Nokia down on any phone they release nowdays, put people will prefer a Simple phone like the C5,the Buttons might take up most of the phone but Nokia as learned from the N73 an N82 the buttons were to small for a Large number of the Public so they have made the C5 keypad just the right size for everyone,Nokia are nowdays trying to catch up in the Touch Screen Mobile market but not everyone like touchscreens if you can"t use the phone while working,Hope we do see the New X or N series mobiles as soon as possible,as Nokia have got to show the others they are still the Number 1 seller,by releasing more outstanding mobiles because since the N95 they have not released a really outstanding mobile

Nice design! With Nokia's well known build quality - C5 will be really good gadget!
My Nokia 3250 is getting outdated (giggle) so Nokia C5 probably will be my next phone!

the target market of this phone is for those people who has a low budget.. so don't argue about the simpleness of this phone.. not all people can afford to buy high end phones!

Quite interesting! Quite sure that C5 never become the best seller since N5110 (1998) and N5800 (2008). I am sure that C 5 will be stopped in selling and production just after this announcement.
