The latest LG flagship has many unique features to court users. Or are they gimmicks?

If it had a decent sized battery, it might stand a chance. Sensible thickness and weight, none of this "me too" thin as a sheet of paper rubbish that so many are headed for. I thought that the second screen was a great idea till I found out it was just a notifications area stuck on top. That is a lot of engineering, bulk and weight for not a lot of benefit. Dual selfy - utter waste. Such a shame about the battery.

    LG V10 is great but their update is worst than Samsung. Thats why the sales is rather unpleasing. If you look at the list of smartphone from LG that will receive Marshmallow, there are like only 3 flagship will get it soon.

        Samsung justo copy iPhone and you talking about lack of things in Lg, its en amazing design and authentic, software un Lg works really well, samsung with allí marketing but un fact its not reality about quality

          Vaio Agent, 08 Nov 2015confirm hotHasn't stuttered after 3 days. Screen is beautiful and battery is not that bad. People complaning about thickness are too picky. Definately hot!!

                    Bought it. Is hot! Loved the premium feel. Something to be said for slightly more thick and slightly more heavy. It is not too heavy or thick. Second screen has been useful for seeing previews of notifications and deciding which was worth opening up the phone. The fingerprint sensor is flawless and fast. Not a fan of the way At&t did not bundle the earbuds and did not contract for the more interesting deep blue, white, or beige colors.

                      Its not perfect phone but its definitely hot.

                      And people complain about "gimmick" controls probably saw this phone only on pictures or played with it in shop for few seconds(probably 80% of people on GSMA, like always...).
                      Buttons on back cover are really nice idea, but you need some time to get used to it. Afer a while you gonna love this idea, and because of size of phone its good placement for it.

                      And people complaining about performances..., Jesus Christ give me a break... when do you kids realize that fighting for 2-5% better score on benchmark have NOTHING TO DO with real experience. Get your brain together and learn it for F sake.
                      True that its doesnt have good GPU to handle advance games, but still you can play them and USE THIS PHONE without any problem.
                      Most of problems that you have with phone is not because of hardware but because of lack of optimization of OS and apps. If you want complain complain to google and app devs that they are lazy to make their software better.

                      And if someone complain about "thickness" go buy Oppo R5s or buy a exacto knife.

                      But best part is that if you would get thick phone you would complain about battery or another "bend gate"... because kids in GSMA love to complain...

                          They need to work on thickness to bring it in 7mms range, increase screen to body ratio, and i believe, Samsung's edge display is much better than the 2dry display of V10, they also need to work on UI. Lack of above said, does not make it hot, but indeed its a monster machine, but not beautiful/hot.

                                        Not Hot. Lg, your phone is thick, heavy and has a gimmicky feature. Make the basics great and worry about gimmicks later.
