oh my gosh... this is wat satio owners are waiting... we can shout to the maximum level.. just hoping the threaded sms wlll now be integrated in messaging like c905.. likewise the satio homescrin... slideshow pls more transition effects its boring using the slideshow gosh!!! sensitivity of the screen,equalizer and just hoping animated icons like c905 changeable background of media.. wvga video wow... awesome!!!

Finally a major update...hope it will be available this weekend as it says..we, satio users really need this major update..finally after ages..whew.. :) happy to hear this..

Satio was my dream phone. this minor updates wont bring it back, it has been recalled once and wont live again. SE you let all your fans down. you should have perfected SATIO before release. it took you so long to release it and you released it as a flop phone. check the market first what tecnology is out, more user memory more storage memeory, bug free and faster updates

the Recording scene is a joke, 90% of the modern phones can record greater than VGA. (and alot smoother)
X10 - Snapdragon/8MP... whats the excuse? the vivaz has lower specs
Nexus One - Same specs as the the X10 except a 5mp cam, oh yea a 5mp can't HD can it? only 2MP are HD
HTC Desire - Nexus one samething
HTC HD2 - you get the point
Even HTC Legend could pull off at least 720p, its got similar specs to the OmniaHD and Vivaz
Its good to see SE break this useless cycle of degrading video
most HD recording compact cameras don't have such specs, yea ok the LENs and stuff is much better but in terms of processing and handing HD phones are on par
oh yea, the ultimate joke is of course the phone that doesn't even need to be named

What do you people have against nokia I always see negative comments about nokia its about time you stop complaining and buy what you want from other companies...... but right now I don't see a phone that can easily beat my n900 interms of user friendliness and a nice keyboard just the right phone that replaced my nokia E90 pure class

I just ADORE Satio.
It should've been the BEST mobitel in the world when it came out, just to be trampled and cursed with bugs and problems.
NOw it's finally sorting out. And here it is, the best phone even today!!
The only monster camera smartphone, the best UI implementation of Symbian, great multimedia capabilities.
If you guys at SE only finally manage that equalizer presets and fix the frequency response, the Satio will stay my buying target when my current contract ends. PERFECT mobile!
Thank you SE, better late than never, just keep this attitude and you'll be back where you belong :)

Everytime Satio gets pulled off shelves from UK, there seems to be an update to software :o
Maybe Sony Ericsson is updating shelved phones too?

yay! this is very good news! well done sony ericsson. i don't think the cpu at 600mhz is quite fast enough for 720p video, evident from samsung, even after all this time not managing a smooth frame rate. the vivaz the same cpu clocked a little higher which has smooth 24fps.
:) i picked the handset because its the only symbian 5th edition with xenon! most important features for me.....

Don't give a damn about the phone but that woman is HOT!!! Come on SE, what are you doing with your phones? They are behind with their tech especially compared to Samsung.
