I'm not talking about sales now because samsung is in their best condition and SE are having major problems I'm aware of that. My point it that regarding high end phones samsung is still behind, I know they have some good phones but yet not as good as HTC or SE.
You just must accept the fact that samsung is not perfect in every aspect ok. Samsung still don't have any device as powerful as the HD2 or X10, if you samsung guys want to believe some thing else its up to you, as I asserted before apple fans think the iphone is the best smartphone in the world while the fact is the opposite.
Having a 1Ghz with 384 or 448 Ram, along with a huge screen 4 inch and more, along with a wonderful capacitive touch screen, and a very fast and smooth phone that has what it takes to experience the world. This is what I call an advanced High end phone and samsung did not reach it yet!
Please go see the video I posted in the X10 mini forum, it was a competition between SE and samsung regarding the smoothness and speed of the touch screen! Go see the difference for your self.
SE is about pure quality, not just making things first just to be first! What a stup id policy. Having the first 8 megapixel camera phone with out a xenon flash just to be first!
Cheating people about the Omnia HD reaching 24 fps, while it barely reaches 20! I know SE released hd recording after a year but at least it was well done, it reaches 24 fps and has auto focus while recording!
Again quality comes before we just want to be first! The difference is huge, and what about updating and supporting your software after releasing the phones? Are you going to be honest on this one or defend samsung again, they are the worst brand supporting their followers with updates.
One more thing for you guys, you must have the latest software and os in order for you to buy a samsung. For us SE guys, we don't worry about not releasing the X10 with the latest 2.1 Andriod because we know that SE will update it soon to 2.1 or 2.2 and will make it even more powerful.
For you guys, you are just stuck! So if its 1.6 or 2.0 or whatever, I don't think it will never change. OR even if it does its going to take like for ever.
Look at the satio for example it got an update that allows it to record in WVGA after it was only capable of VGA. Samsung would never release such an update, so the thing is with our updates our phones improve to a better condition.
Finally, I'm not going to be a child and take a phone just because it has a wonderful screen! I know amoled screens are remarkable. But there are much important things than only a nice screen! And samsung miss most of it.
While SE provides us with most of it!

i have to lol at some of these s.e n nokia fans about copying nobody copy if the technology is there n no one wants 2 use it y no one never think of making a phone to record in hi def until samsung did it,y they never think of putting a dlp projector in a phone?in case u fanboys havent noticed technology doesnt stay at one place everyday they are advancing on old technology wi-fi n been out long time y no manufacture think of putting it in a mobile?htc did but it was disabled so stop hating on samsung because the put all of the latest n greatest technology in their phones...check the w800 thts a freaking camera wit a phone not a phone with a camera cause one look at it n u'll think its a camera its jus one of a kind

ive never owned a samsung phone in my life cos they phones are crap and ugly and form what i read no after sales support sony e customer support crap as well maybe a jap n china thing.

But in reality it only fools people. So let it claim what it wants. The Good thing is that it has no brains folks to fool :)
When SE claims something it makes it true! That's the reason I trust the company and that's the reason it deserves se= make.believe

Nokia is still d leader Mobile fone manufacturer..even how many geeky fones other companies released,how smart it is.no one beat Nokia..not all potential buyers r geeks.they dnt care how fast is d file transfer over Bluetooth or How Brilliant the screen is or How Many MP a camera can Captured.BTW every phones that Nokia released was a sure Hit.
So Stop Whining who released first or who copied who coz Mobile companies copied each other technologies what matter most is the end result.

The omnia hd came at a time when flagship SE models were doin a mere wqvga, WQVGA!!! and you complain!.... the 1st 8mega phone in the market was the innov8!! and it was the best then... n oh, so samsung havent got a device like the xperia x10 huh?? what the devil is the samsung beam??? its got a projector and 720p hd 4 heavens sake, and its android... so u think SE has got cool devices?? its top model xperia x2, comes with ur so called processor, ram and so on, wich are so old that today mid level models feature better... n oh, oh! just go check the SE financial stats if u want to see the end result of their wonderful devices!!... happy techie!!!

Also, keep in mind that SE is about quality not about fancy names. For example, the omnia hd claims that it is capable of recording till 24 fps while they barely reach 20 !! While the vivaz claims that it reaches 24 fps and it does what it claims! Plus the auto focus feature while capturing a video!
The difference is huge, when samsung had their first 8 megapixel camera it had a led flash! while c905 had a xenon flash! Again quality not fancy names! I have posted a video comparison on the x10 mini and the samsung hd capacitive touch screens, go see for your self how pathetic the omnia hd is in front of the x10 mini or HD.
Again my friend, may be apple fan boys would be interested in the fancy names and featres, while we true SE fans, are interested in much important things such as quality, reliability and Fantastic update software support ;)

Anonymous, 10 Mar 2010who says you can't get both megapixels AND excellent quality?Yes, you can have both but that will leave a hole in your pocket. Not everyone need that. 5mp should cover need of more than 95% of the market. Look none of the 12mp are huge seller. My 2 cents.

for those lil numskulls bragging tryna bring dwn samsung bout copy cat they're not cause they announced n released first 8mp camera phone n they even built the sensor in the c905 case u didnt kno n about 12mp cam phones the pixon 12 to me was jus a knock off to show sony tht they too can make a 12mp camera phone 2 cause look after a couple weeks of announcibg they showed off its succesor the w800 n it was released in korea oct last year same month satio released so tht goes to show samsung build n release 2 12mp cam phones b4 sony bring 1 lol n nw to the processor lemme ask this...WHY WOULD SAMSUNG PUT THE SNAPDRAGON IN THE 'WAVE' THEIR FIRST BADA OS PHONE WHEN THEY HAVE THEIR OWN 1GHZ PROCESSOR WHICH IS MORE POWERFUL?since it was unveiled last summer have u heard about it in any of their phones?thts because they was saving it up for the wave i was wondering 2 when their gonna make a 1GHZ phone with the humming bird cause the snapdragon seems 2 b a fav but i know when samsung is quiet 4 a long while jus expect something mahd n sick...samsung 4 eva:)

And if this is your logic, that means Samsung copied SE because Sony were the first to announce a 8 and 12 megapixel cameras! But it's not about announcing its about releasing fan boy.
I respect people who admit their flaws and talk reasonable, but blind people such as your self are only a waste of time, no offence :)
Samsung are very good but regarding high end phones, they still need a lot to catch up with SE or HTC. You still don't have a strong device such as the hd2 or x10 and probably won't.
This is a fact whether you like it or cry about it, I know some people will not like what I'm saying now, but all I'm asking them is to be decent and don't be blind, keep open minded and keep the good work going on, looking forward for the beam from samsung.

the first and the only phone made by SE that has the 1ghz inside haven't released yet. so why you keep saying that samsung will be the last company to have it?
i think a year later SE going to release the b/g/n WLAN phone. after that, they'll release a phone with bluetooth 3.0. and also i think the day which SE would use amoled (so super amoled) will never come. because they have their 'pride'.
so, who's the copy-paste company?
