I think this is a misconception, and only partly true. I think if you get the fundamentals right (i.e. responsiveness, smoothness and "core" apps), then rest will fall in to place and both developers and users will be attracted to the platform.
Responsiveness: no more than 15ms.
Smoothness: guaranteed and consistent 60FPS (HW accelerated and no battery drain).
Core Apps: browser (must be very smooth and responsive), email, calendar, contacts, camera, probably Twitter and Facebook (etc, etc, etc...).
If Samsung get the above right, "they will come". Get the above wrong, and Tizen will go down like BB10 (BlackBerry wrote their browser and email view using JavaScript, and a whole bunch of their core apps were written in Adobe AIR (not hardware accelerated, janky and juddery as hell)).

1. Use the IR Blaster to control all my TVs and media devices (and the air-con).
2. Replace a dead battery with a fully charged one when I'm on a plane or on the move.
3. Download audio and video podcasts directly to my handset so I can listen to them when I don't have an Internet connection (like on a plane).
4. Slip in a 64GB micro SD card (packed with movies, stuff from work etc...).
5. Stream media (videos and music) directly from my NAS drive - even remotely (using ES File Explorer).
6. Review corporate documents on the company network (again, using ES File Explorer).
7. Write and deploy programs to my G4 without having to own an Apple computer.
Hey, but each to their own. Enjoy whatever platform/handset works best for you.

I had the iPhone 6 till September ; now I have the iPhone 6s plus. On my android phones I had many app crash and freeze .Don't get me wrong; I like android as well ; next year I will try the galaxy note 6. I never had a galaxy note before.

And again, iOS users, Apple themselves, claim they're easier to use. That's why they have the slogan 'it just works', that's why they have a walled garden. You are either inarticulate or you are a blind nonsensical sheep.

Android phones are very easy to operate. Don't forget ; most of the iPhone users owned at least 1 or 2 android phones. I had 4 and I had enough app crash freezing etc

The things I do daily on my phone simply cannot be done with iOS, even with root. You would probably struggle to find a single thing iOS can do that android can't however.

In your attempt to make iOS seem better you threw that away by claiming, like me, that android is easier to use. That leaves iOS with no benefits for you and that means you only use it because you are a sheep.

*More capabilities and being customizable
AND
*ease of use
are not mutually exclusive.
Technical people more commonly choose android because it is more customizable. Whether its cheaper or easy to use doesn't make a difference to them. They can still change a lot and experiment a lot with it.
