The voices on the background are Dutch. Official Dutch retailers of HTC released the silver edition pictures a month ago, when some retailers opened pre-ordering. Maybe I'll pre-order this phone :D

I reckon the HTC Desire looks better in black but that's only my opinion,i wish the phone would've had the screen of the Samsung S8500wave (ultra oled) and 8mpix camera with HD recording all in the design of the HTC HD2 if they had done all that, this phone would have been unbeatable,it probably would've turned in to a sales record !!

Me thinks the HTC Desire looks better in brown. Not that silver isn't a nice colour, but brown makes the Desire look more compact and less plasticky.

What has happened to silver phones - no-one seems to make them anymore and they're BY FARRR the hottest looking. C'mon people, we want more than just black or white.. white is lame anyway. Silver is ALWAYS the hottest.

Actually in my country (Romania) i saw on an internet site that i visit every day that they have the HTC Legend for sale for about 455 EUR . I don`t know if it`s preorder or not, but they have it for sale so GSMarena is apparently roght it is "in stores now" :)
By the way this silver colour Desire looks very good, i hope they will make white or black Desires as well.
